Yeah, someone needs sacking. I'd have had that down long before a foreign irritant with a penchant for bacon sandwiches and Roman history could screengrab it for unspecified purposes.
Now there is a tussle for the courts of contract law. What action could a company take against a customer who breached a contract on the basis that the company had misrepresented themselves via their "mission statement" ?
My guess is that a court would rule that "mission statements" are complete and utter horseshit (much like political promises) and you're bound by the small print. (It's entirely possible such a ruling exists ..).
I rather like the idea of being able to refute a companies corporate bullshit as such, with a nice judge backing me up.
