Settle a baby name argument

My fiancé wants to call our “hypothetical” son Roland.

I think it’s a horribly old fashioned name that will cause him to be bullied.

He thinks it’s ridiculously cool and is gutted that I hate it.

Who is being unreasonable?

My brain immediately went “Like Roland Rat?” so I’m with you.

Meh I don’t mind Roland. There was one at the nursery I used to work at, nobody mentioned the name really.

It’s potentially a bit unusual and old fashioned but I don’t think it’ll make him a target for bullies.

Ray is cute, the little boy from Jerry Maguire is Ray I think, or ghost busters or your own ray of sunshine. Of the two I’d champion Ray (mond) over Roland
