Why do people continue to talk about him as if he was their mate?
Has he really succeeded in fooling so many?
It makes me cringe everytime people say it.

Lets see what Boris says
I'd like to meet up but it depends on Boris

on and on it goes.
The man is an embarassment.

@randomer

Could the people who feel they like him and voted for him please say why........anything really?
Isn't that a whole other thread? We get it. You don't like him.
randomer · 06/01/2021 08:25

Maybe it is another thread, its not quite as childish as I don't like him.

Well you have bumped the thread asking people to explain why they like him and voted for him. Is that so that you can have a pop at them or what?

He is a clever man. It's all part of the way he operates. It's what helped him get elected and win the referendum

Remember Boris Bikes in London? Not his doing, I think it was his predecessor, but he put his s me to it.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson.

Even his name sounds like a bumbling mumbling idiot.

Assume his parents chose his name when he was born. Bit early to say how he would turn out.

No, I don't want to have a pop at anybody. I can't understand why people like him, what are his qualities as a leader? I just can't fathom it at all.

I believe he chose to adopt the second name Boris in preference to his first name.

I believe him to be a deeply damaged narcissist.

Not necessarily, I don't get the impression that people think that way about Boris Becker, for example. (Although in his case it helps that he's German. Ironic really, that BoJo has chosen to go by a name that's more German than British given his anti EU stance.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 06/01/2021 11:15

I'm sure a lot of people call Johnson "Boris" without meaning anything positive, but it still irritates me. Boris is his carefully crafted public persona. Posh but one of us, bumbling but clever, relatable, excusable, lovable fucking Boris. Ugh.

That's how I feel, too unmarked.

He wants to seem a bit of a "Tim-nice-but-dim", - he's anything but. He is as cunning as hell and knows EXACTLY what he is doing. His bumbling persona suits his agenda because it make shim hard to pin down on anything, and he deflects criticism with a silly joke or comment.

He's a total twat.

Using the same logic we call them 'Sadiq Cycles' in our house Grin
