I have mine on New Years Day and I’d honestly crawl over broken glass to get to it

MrsBennetsnerves · 31/12/2020 00:45

I'm a night owl and traffic/parking won't be a hassle then, so yes.

MoreLikeThis · 31/12/2020 00:45

Yanbu. I would happily

BubblyBarbara · 31/12/2020 00:46

I'd take whatever time meant I'd line up the least amount of time. I am not waiting more than 10 minutes.

Smokeahontas · 31/12/2020 00:49

I’d go anytime, day or night, to the other end of the country if I had to. I’d take the middle of the night especially if it meant freeing up the daytime for the more vulnerable, people with childcare / other caring commitments. The sooner this nightmare is over & we return to some extent of normality, the better.

Inpersuitofhappiness · 31/12/2020 00:50

100% would

MrsSugar · 31/12/2020 00:51

I would.

I’d like to receive the vaccine but am currently ttc and the health board I work for will not give the vaccine if you are pregnant or planning to conceive in next 3 months

NetballHoop · 31/12/2020 00:51

It's a yes from me. Though I wound like a bit of an advanced warning so I could make sure there would be someone at home to keep an eye on the teenagers.

Brunt0n · 31/12/2020 00:52

I can’t drive and have a toddler but I would still go at 2am, even if I had to walk there!

JoBrodie · 31/12/2020 00:52

Yes, I don't drive but live in London and most buses round here are 24hour (or night buses) so pretty easy to get anywhere, and I really want to be vaccinated before Spring* so that I can go to a concert and do jury duty. Be a bit bloody ironic if I caught it on the bus on the way to the vaccine centre, so late night seems fairly ideal on that front ;)

*I realise I might not get my wish! I deferred jury duty for a year in April 2020, not sure if I can do so again and pretty wary.

puppychaos · 31/12/2020 00:54

Yes absolutely.

IDSNeighbour · 31/12/2020 00:55

Yes, definitely.

But I suspect this poll is probably skewed towards the insomniacs and night owls given that it was posted at midnight. There might be a few more nos by the time we eventually wake up tomorrow Grin

RememberSelfCompassion · 31/12/2020 00:56

Id go now...

pinbinpin · 31/12/2020 00:57

Without hesitation.

dancinfeet · 31/12/2020 00:58

Yes if it was being administered in walking distance (I.e. local doctor's surgery) no if not- I live in a small town with no public transport after 11pm, and I don't drive

Showchin2 · 31/12/2020 01:01

Yes, please! Anything to get the vaccines out faster is fine by me!

CentrifugalBumblePuppy · 31/12/2020 01:03

Of course. Would be daft not to.

Wingedharpy · 31/12/2020 01:04

Yep. Put my name down for the night shift, please.

Freddiefox · 31/12/2020 01:04

Rolling my Sleeve up now.

Am not sure they are actually talking about a 24/7 rollout though?

I think a journalist at the press conference raised it as a question, and the answer was along the lines of “we’re working round the clock to implement ....”

If it was the case then yes, provided I had notice then I would attend.

But am not getting my hopes up that the programme will be ramped up to that level. Would rather it’s well-formulated and sustainable, rather than rushed through to appease and then ends up creating more problems down the line.

Destinysdaughter · 31/12/2020 01:06

It depends how close to my home it was. There would be no public transport to the hospital at that time of night. If it was at my local surgery, then yes. Though still don't feel great about walking about at that time of night tbh.

Wishitsnows · 31/12/2020 01:08

Absolutely yes

Thewithesarehere · 31/12/2020 01:08

If it saves the economy, I will even accept that they bring out the army to do mass vaccination asap. (Why aren’t they bringing out the army to make it faster? It’s a national emergency!).

Littleroundsponge · 31/12/2020 01:10

Absolutely, anytime day or night! Wild horses couldn't keep me away

Italiangreyhound · 31/12/2020 01:10

Yes, happily. Luckily, I have a car and can drive so a late night appointment would be fine. Leave the day ones for people who would need public transport.
