Just that really. Yes there was some cheesy bits with some speaker talk of “nourishment” (cringe) by reading children’s books, but most of it was good and positive. Nice mix of contributors. Well done Harry & Meghan.

They categorically never said they wanted ‘privacy’ for themselves.

They wanted to step down as senior royals and they wanted to break away from free access from certain aspects of the British press who were treating them appallingly. They also wanted privacy for their son.

But they expressed no desire or intention of following a private life themselves.

As someone who has struggled as a freelancer in broadcast for over 15 years, it does sting a little to see these 2 get handed multi million pound deals to 'produce' content.

But 'twas ever thus.

I'm pleased that they are now being funded by Netflix which presumably reduces the burden on the British tax payer.

Perhaps the Americans enjoy their sort of thing although I have zero idea why. I find them annoying, superior and hypocritical and won't be listening to their broadcast efforts.

I think they tried. But they couldn’t do right for doing wrong. The criticism she got for touching bumps and wearing coats ffs. For the sake of my sanity, id have left too.

The message & intent of the podcast is very clear and no different to what loads of other end of 2020 podcasts have produced.

Hope you're also on the Hilaria Baldwin threads telling all of them off for their nit picking over her too and any other woman who comes in for criticism on here. I am none of the things you have accused us of being. I'm not racist either. I just don't like M&H and their constant lectures. And it's absolutely fine for me to feel that way and say so.

It is astonishing that a negative opnion of this grasping pair automatically means someone is a racist apparently, according to mn and sm law. They've sold out with their tacky book and Netflix millions, the very company who have portrayed his own parents in a very negative light. He has no conscience just an ego and a massive chip on his shoulder. Their do gooder awards are the height of delusions of grandeur.

Indeed, the idea that any criticism, no matter how deserved, of a person of colour is racist, is pandering, patronising and infantilising in the extreme and is a deadly weapon in closing down discussion. I won't accept it.

Perhaps they'll do one on forgiveness and the importance of reconciliation and loving family, flaws and all. Now that one would be worth a listen instead of all the saviour guff.

I do think a big reason for their swift, rather ruthless distancing from the RF was so as not to have their brand tainted by Prince Andrew's revolting behaviour, of which I think there are many more details to come, and for that I do not blame them one bit.

Private citizens still have and want to work. All it means in their case is not being royal, they can do whatever they choose.

It's a pity the pandemic struck as they left UK, otherwise I'm sure they'd have taken off career-wise. Though there have been benefits in them having time to themselves with a young baby.

Let's hope this year brings a lot of opportunities for them. I'd love to see them here at least a couple of times and I'm sure the rest of Harry's family would. Zooming is not the same!

For me I'm confused by their actual role/job or chosen career now. What is it they 'do'. It all seems s a bit woolly, lots of inspiring talk, change the word, empower yourself etc. But I don't understand why they are being paid to produce stuff when they haven't actually achieved anything in their previous lives. It's like your mate setting themselves up as a 'life coach', after getting their A level in Psychology. I don't have anything against them but struggling to understand what makes their views and pronouncements so important to the rest of us. If it was Bill Gates, yes, I appreciate he has something relevant to say. But H and M no.
