If I was posting on a site called Dadsnet as a women (and my username didn't make it clear that I was posting from a woman's perspective), I'd probably also clarify my gender? I once pulled up someone's AS result. Only because they were lying and imho there was a bad reason behind that. Never before, never after.

'Is that all you have to worry about?' is worthy of an eye roll 95% of the time. I make exceptions for the woe is me threads where posters claim they are struggling to make ends meet on £100k family income and don't know if they can afford a baby though.

If you're to believe MN then 3/4 of the country is a very high earner, they buy houses in catchments for schools that their not even conceived child might attend in 15 years time, and their husbands have super big and important jobs.

I think the spirit of the whole saying "atleast...blah blah" is to keep hope that you have the ability to resolve and reach a point of peace (maybe) for the rest... all hope is lost... :(

Oh yeah, but then some class poverty as having to shop at Aldi to afford the school fees as they haven't a clue about real issues.

I joke, but attitudes to wealth on here are funny. I'm sure most of us are in the middle ground, but threads about money seem to disproportionately attract those who want to share their own, or worse their DH's, amazing salary.
