Embarrassing accidental things on Facebook/Instagram!

What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve managed to do on Facebook/Instagram? I’m talking accidentally liking someone’s photo from 2010, adding someone by accident, sharing someone’s photo etc? These always crack me up.

Made me think as today I accidentally watched the Instagram story of a man I dated for a while several years ago and haven’t spoken to since (I am happy with DP now!) - he came up as someone I might know and I clicked on his page to be nosy. I didn’t realise that if you click on the person’s profile it shows you their most recent story?! I’m cringing as it will show him I’ve watched it - I don’t even follow him!!

Oh well - there are worse things I am sure!!

Once I was snooping on the fb of an acquaintance, and I accidentally sent a thumbs up emoji to him on fb messenger. Luckily it was his birthday that day so I sent a follow up "happy birthday!" acting like the thumbs up was a birthday greeting or something. Not sure if he bought it.

Oh and I accidentally friend requested a woman who turned out to be an ex of a guy i vaguely know and she thought me and the guy had a thing and was questioning me.

The accidental 'pokes' mid-stalk never went down well either!
