Do you still 'snog' your husband?

We've been together for 6 years and married for 3 but I don't think we've had anything more passionate than a smooch on the lips for almost 2 years.
I'm Interested in what other couples do!?

@InTheShadowOfTheMushroomCloud

Oh god yes... nearly 60 and we snog whenever we can. Big snog this afternoon as he went off to work... I am a good 6" shorter than him so I stand on a kitchen step... He says 'get on your step girl! '..... saves our arthritic necks!
That's the cutest thing I've ever heard!!!
Glitterinthegrey · 19/12/2020 00:15

Yes! Every day, and like lots of others, often in the kitchen, what is it with kitchens?? We're quite tactile and affectionate with each other generally, still hold hands too.

CrazyFoxLady · 19/12/2020 00:15

@N0tfinished I love this! Been married for 21 years and never had this. Love you ❤️

Phrowzunn · 19/12/2020 00:20

@LadyTiredWinterBottom2

What no snoggage during the sexy time?! We don't snog every time but pretty much every time. We occasionally snog outside of sex but l have to be careful as be takes this aa a wink and a nod, the randy sod, and sometimes l just want a snog. Been together 18 years married for 10.
I could have written this about my DH! I love a good snog but they have a very powerful effect so you have to be careful!
FitterHappierMoreProductive · 19/12/2020 00:22

@CrazyFoxLady

He’s a right soppy bastard! Grin

Oblahdeeoblahdoe · 19/12/2020 00:31

@PickAChew

Ugh, no. But as of 2 days ago I'm officially menopausal and my libido departed with my cycle.
Get a doctor's appointment and ask to be referred to a menopause clinic. You have the rest of your (and your DP's) life to think about.
Lobeu · 19/12/2020 00:33

Only in the lead up to sex Blush

IamAporcupine · 19/12/2020 01:35

We only snog during sexy unfortunately, as I absolutely love kissing.

Lots of lovely posts in this thread, I must admit I feel jealous and sad as some of you describe what I always wanted in a relationship but do not have.

scarletqueen · 19/12/2020 08:54

Awwww
Some lovely stories here keep them coming
I'm in a very snoggy mood now lol
Dont think I can wait till my NYE kiss

OP posts:
StormcloakNord · 19/12/2020 09:19

Yeah we're in the once a day group! We kiss/cuddle throughout the day and usually steal a song while we're cooking dinner & our daughter is upstairs.

I try not to do snogging in bed though as it almost always leads to sex and I'm too bloody tired for it half the time Grin

scarletqueen · 19/12/2020 09:20

Feeling very jealous of all lovey dovey couples rn
What do you reckon ladies should I just go for it?
And give DH a proper tongue wrestling snog like we used to?

OP posts:
Bumpsadaisie · 19/12/2020 09:31

Yes in sex - not on a stand-alone basis though 🤣

scarletqueen · 19/12/2020 09:33

@elp30

About a minute before I read this thread, my husband (of 25 years, nonetheless) asked,

"The kids are off in 30 minutes. You want to sit next to me and give me a snog?"

I said, "Sure, why not?"

There you go.

I Love this and how casual it is lolSmile I Miss my casual spontaneous snogs in uni

impostersong · 19/12/2020 09:38

This post makes me very sad. I love deep kissing and miss it so much. Married 10yrs and my DH never kisses me. At first I thought it was because I smoked, so I quit. Nope, not that. He then gets the hump cos I don't want sex. How could I possibly want sex if he won't even kiss me? No kisses, no cuddles, no hand holds. Yet it my fault as I don't want sex.

scarletqueen · 19/12/2020 09:50

@impostersong
I'm sorry for you
That shouldn't happen to any couple

OP posts:
Frazzled2207 · 19/12/2020 09:51

During sex yes. Otherwise rarely. Together 13 years married for 10.

scarletqueen · 19/12/2020 10:06

@BitOfFun

Proper good kisses every day (15 years together). We've never been very tonguey though.
Good for you after 15 yrs Sad for you cos tho I love french kissing I find it very sexy

@LadyTiredWinterBottom2
I can defo understand just wanting a snog and no sex like you said.
Sometimes I just wanna smooch but
Rn I could go for a sloppy tonguefest tho

romany4 · 19/12/2020 10:32

Love snogging my DH.
Been married 30 years and his kisses still make me tingly

scarletqueen · 19/12/2020 10:38

DH is looking very snoggable today
Ok ladies screw it I'm just gonna go for it

yelyah22 · 19/12/2020 10:48

Yaaaaay go OP! We do, also usually in the kitchen haha - definitely more often as a precursor to sex, I would like more general recreational snogging.

grannyinapram · 19/12/2020 11:00

mmmm I love snogging
its what I missed most about the early days of our relationship until I decided to stop missing it and start kissing it Wink
we snog loads now

StormBaby · 19/12/2020 11:29

@CrazyFoxLady it makes me wibbly just thinking about it.

Those of you that want this and no longer have it, I challenge you to just go for it! Just grab the man in your life and snog them!

scarletqueen · 19/12/2020 12:06

Grinphew
ok so first I just kissed DH then slipped him some tongue
he responded and we had a passionate snog!
I think we both forgot what great French kissers we are
we defo got a bit carried away with our tongues Shock
It was a proper old fashioned snogathon for half/hour
beat that ladies!💋
hope this wasn't TMI.
p.s good thing we were not in the kitchen as my bra ended up on the floorWink

Yes we still snog but not every day. We kiss every day but it’s not necessarily a snog if that makes sense. We are very tactile with each other though, cuddle every evening on the sofa and we’re both cuddly sleepers in bed. I think it’s just both of our love languages- we need physical affection for reassurance lol
We’ve been married for 3 years and together for 9 and have a DS aged 3.
