To ask you to recommend me some good quality slippers?

I’m fed up of crap slippers. I’ve tried all the high street shop ones and they’re all a bit rubbish. Can you recommend me some that are hard wearing, comfortable, good grippy sole, not pink or sparkly and will not go all saggy and end up being a health and safety hazard?

This thread is quite old now so some of the suggestions may be out of date, but if you’ve landed here looking for warm, high-quality slippers, we’ve recently updated our best women’s slippers page with lots of great options, as worn and loved by Mumsnet users. We hope you find it useful. Flowers

I got some at onaie.com Smile really happy with them, they’re sheepskin and cosy while still being colourful

Henlie · 13/12/2020 20:29

Mahabis! Had them three years this Christmas. Still going strong 😊

MyNameForToday1980 · 13/12/2020 20:32

My Celtic Co slippers are on their third winter. 10/10 recommend.

Thislittlekitten · 13/12/2020 20:33

Sheepers. I love mine. So cosy.

LEELULUMPKIN · 13/12/2020 20:38

Moshulu hands down. Ds is disabled and for years I had to carry him down the stairs. I was terrified of tripping.

I started buying these www.moshulu.co.uk/product/caramel-mini-spot-ballet-slippers-1117#?variant=28

and have never worn anything else.

I love them. They also do plain velvet with animal print inners which is the pair I I am currently rocking.

They last for absolute ages!

missyB1 · 13/12/2020 20:39

Moschulu they are comfy but hard wearing. I wear my slippers outside to get washing in/ go to the garage / recycling bins etc. These cope no problem.
I’m getting a new pair for Christmas.

Uggs. Had them a year, so comfy

MoMuntervary · 13/12/2020 20:42

Third recommendation for Moshulu. Best slippers I've owned, good range of plain and spotty/animal print etc. Warm and practical.

FootprintsInTheDew · 13/12/2020 20:45

See, my Moshulus were far too wide and lasted less than 6 months before a hole appeared in the toe. Never again. My Toms Ivy are several years old, go in the wash and look as good as new.

Snappyteabread · 13/12/2020 20:47

Moreland slippers

BikeRunSki · 13/12/2020 20:49

Celtic house boots. Mine are on their 10th winter.

MarchSurprise · 13/12/2020 20:49

Sheepers. Feel luxurious every time I pop them on, I love them

MaskingForIt · 13/12/2020 21:21

Skye Skyns

They’re made from Scottish sheep in Scotland by Scottish people.

I’ve had mine for 3 years and they’re still going strong.

Bloody I feel like a right tight arse now. I've never spent this kind of dosh on slippers.

CakeIsMyFavouriteAndBest · 13/12/2020 21:57

Skechers Bobs, had my last pair years and my best friend just gave me a sparkly pair for my birthday. I feel so glamorous in them but they are also so practical and comfy. Not frumpy at all!

Iwantacookie · 13/12/2020 22:00

Totes memory foam if you don't want to spend a fortune. Mine were £16 I think.
