To point you all in the direction of the government consultation on violence against women and girls

The government are holding a public consultation to help inform their next steps on the campaign to end violence against women and girls.

The survey can be found here:

www.gov.uk/government/consultations/violence-against-women-and-girls-vawg-call-for-evidence

It closes on 15th December.

This is an important opportunity to have a say on current policy and which direction you would like to see future policy move in.

Completed.
Be great if MNHQ could make this a sticky post?

FoxyTheFox · 10/12/2020 20:44

I've reported my opening post and asked if they could sticky it.

Done, and Thankyou as never heard of it before.

Retiremental · 10/12/2020 22:51

Reported it as well Smile So important to have our voices heard!

YouJustDoYou · 10/12/2020 22:53

There are no such things as "women" and "girls". We don't exist, apparently. It's offensive to non-womb-havers.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 10/12/2020 22:54

Thanks!

FoxyTheFox · 11/12/2020 07:45

Bumping

Bumping again.
And a bit shocked at the apathy from both MNHQ AND MNers. Maybe loads of people are responding to the survey and not commenting?

Sandals19 · 11/12/2020 10:32

Wales & England so don't think I can complete.

FoxyTheFox · 11/12/2020 10:58

The Scottish government don't have a current consultation on this but they do have a page detailing their current strategies and they have a open consultation in challenging male attitudes to prostitution and helping women break free.

Everyone aged 16 or over is welcome to contribute to the call for evidence, you do not have to have experienced violence or abuse to take part.
Scolha · 11/12/2020 12:59

Thanks for sharing.
All contributions are important as it asks for your opinion @minipie
