to keep getting emotional when the news keeps cutting to anything to do with rugby & Johnny WIlkinson?

I can't stop myself - I don't even watch rugby as a rule! I've just seen Johnny Wilkinsons waxwork being lifted onto the spare plinth in Trafalgar Square and blokes singing 'Swing Low' at Waterloo and I'm a wreck!

The whole hype is gonna kill me by tomorrow night!

PMSL... Hubby has come home early from the pub to watch France V Argentina in the 3rd/4th place play -offs. He has just told the kids it's to watch the French get whopped again!!

I'm getting all nervous, as we speak. There's flag up everywhere round here and the local pub has ordered in 100 portions of curry for the lads for 9.30!

Thats a bit off! I would have thought more of William. Mind you, of all the Royals, Princess Anne is pretty cool. I used to work in the same building as she lived in with Timmy! Never saw her going for her morning pint or loaf though

I've just realised the magnitude of this. (better late than never!) If we win this, we are returning champions. This is huge. They will so win Team of the Year at Sports Personality of the Year in December!

DH played against Percy Montgomery once, and he ran rings round him - Percy did round DH, not the other way round, and DH was caught on camera (the BBC no less) giving Percy the birdie as he ran past him
