I got deleted from a Facebook group about stupid things men say for commenting that this was an overly large portion, is it not?

Never mind putting out - his date will explode if she eats all of that.

CoronaBollox · 22/11/2020 15:51

If I'm hungover I could give it a good go. Well not that one but a nice one. My DP has pretty much the same size portion, he is in a very physical job, just under 6'5 and built like a tank.

My grandad would have even more than that, piles of food on top of each other but he was very overweight. I tend not to comment on anyones eating habits, even if I think its harmless. It's a sensitive subject for lots of people and can be a trigger, that's probably why you got booted.

PigletJohn · 22/11/2020 15:52

Spag Bog is what men do who can't cook.

I'm pretty sure I've never tried to use it for romantic purposes.

sonjadog · 22/11/2020 15:53

When you look at the actual picture, not the cropped one the OP has posted, it is clear that the plate is quite small. It is obviously small as well if you compare it to the size of the fork. The portion is not as large at it appears at first glance.

midnightstar66 · 22/11/2020 15:56

My spag Bol would be terrible for romantic purposes, it's absolutely laced with garlic and is always double carbed with garlic bread.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 22/11/2020 15:57

@VivaMiltonKeynes

You would never put out after eating this as your belly would be the size of a small hippo !
This reminds me of a weekend away I had with dh many moons ago. We went out for dinner and I asked for somewhere custard on my dessert as it was a minuscule amount. The waiter was aghast and said "Oooh double custard?" Later that evening dh was getting frisky and I said "I can't I've had double custard" We use the expression now as a get out for sex. Grin

  • some extra not somewhere
Feministicon · 22/11/2020 16:00

@Eckhart

*Exactly. That sounds like a dreadful group*

OP is standing by it as 'not sexist', because some men are sometimes sexist. Beggars belief. It's like saying chocolate isn't fattening because cheese is fattening.

You are just being obtuse, you haven’t even seen the posts or the page but you are the expert 😂 they don’t post random rude memes about men unlike the equivalent site run by men, it is women and men sharing comments they’ve had levelled at them by random men on social media. You keep your narrative if it suits you though

Go boil your head @Lilliarna. I’ve covered all of this, I’m not a competitive eater but whatever you like, just because you and others on here spend too much time on the website and know all the ins and outs of a monkeys arse in relation to it. I agreed several comments ago I was wrong to comment and I certainly wish to god I’d never bothered posting here.

@TheCrowsHaveEyes

Isn't the point of it that you're 'sharing' it with your virtual date so it's supposed to be more than one portion? But I think 'feminist icons' often join sexist groups where they call men names and comment on food portions ... oh, no, wait. I don't because I'm not an MRA. Hmm
I don’t know what an MRA is. Read my comments on what the page actually entails (handy hint, not calling men names 😂)

@LyingWitchInTheWardrobe@lying That would be convenient wouldn’t it, that is the first comment I’d made in a group of over 13 thousand people and it got deleted and they sent me a message telling me it was because of the portion comment which I’ve long accepted was unnecessary.

OP posts:
Oreservoir · 22/11/2020 16:09

Yes. It’s a very large portion.
People don’t like you to point out their bad eating habits though.
They prefer you to say
You’re not overweight, your cuddly.
Or
You enjoy it girl, you can cut down tomorrow.

So leave them to it and be glad you’re not the one who will suffer with weight related illnesses as you get older.

Feministicon · 22/11/2020 16:11

I shouldn’t have commented and I definitely shouldn’t have started this thread 😂😂 Lesson definitely learned then smashed in my head with a verbal hammer.

MRA - Men’s rights activist

Hamm87 · 22/11/2020 16:46

The plate looks like a small dinner plate so would look like more food

Feministicon · 22/11/2020 16:48

@BeingATwatItsABingThing

MRA - Men’s rights activist
Thanks, I’m even more confused now Grin

What was your intention when you posted then? 🤔
Feministicon · 22/11/2020 16:56

To find out if I was being unreasonable and it seems on balance that I was.

My 16yo ds would eat a portion that size and think it perfectly normal.

But he's an athlete!

I wouldn't be able to manage that and I'm overweight!

DianaT1969 · 22/11/2020 17:19

Is social media rotting people's brains? How is this a conversation?

Feministicon · 22/11/2020 17:22

Looks bog standard for my ds1(17).

Yeah, yeah. Ok it may be slightly on the large side! Wink

NeonIcedcoffee · 22/11/2020 17:25

Ooh it's been a few days since I've seen a competitive under eating thread on here...

NeonIcedcoffee · 22/11/2020 17:26

It's really rude to comment you think people are eating too much. Which is what this was in effects so yes Yabu.

Feministicon · 22/11/2020 17:27

Yes we’ve covered all of that 😂
