Settle a disagreement: whose food was this?

Tonight we ordered a takeaway online which DH collected.

His meal came with a side of kimchi. Mine didn’t but I wanted kimchi so added it on as an extra.

DH collected the food and, when we unpacked the bag, there was only one kimchi. It was a fairly small single-serving tub.

Lighthearted and we came to a very reasonable agreement where we shared it but DH is of the opinion that as kimchi came with his meal, the tub we received was for him and therefore he did me a favour by sharing it.

I feel that he should have checked the bag and therefore any error is on him, and I’m the best wife in the world because I shared my kimchi with him.

YABU = kimchi was rightfully DH’s.
YANBU = kimchi was rightfully mine.

Tonight we had a takeaway. This time I collected it from the local chipper.

DH got a snack box (do you have those in the UK? Chips with two pieces of fried chicken in a greasy cardboard box). It came with stuffing included.
It’s a delicacy in Tokyo

I got chips and added on garlic mayo and stuffing (can tell already that I’ll be dispensing a number of “fuck offs” on the remainder of this thread).

I checked the bag and all accounted for.
The contents are:
1 snack box
1 bag of chips
1 tub of garlic mayo
1 tub of stuffing (same size as garlic mayo)
1 smaller tub of stuffing, packed under the lid of the snack box box.

I get home, go to wash my hands while DH unpacks the bag and come back to find he’s emptied the larger of the stuffings onto his plate, leaving me with the garlic and the smaller tub of stuffing. This means that I don’t have an even dispersal of stuffing and garlic mayo.

Then he feigns ignorance. “Oh, was the bigger one yours?”. Yes, of course it is you greasy stuffing-stealing gowl, it’s the same size as the garlic mayo therefore that’s the size of the sides that they give when you pay extra.

Knob.

It’s like he’s the fucking Sultan of side orders.
