Much more spending announced on 'defence' than eco policies, children growing up in poverty, dodgy contracts awarded to buddies and today pay freezes for public sector workers and a proven bully being supported in her role. All this on top of one of the worst covid death rates in the world. How much longer do we sit by idly?

Minitheminx what are your views in communist countries such as the former East Germany and North Korea forbidding - or in the case of GDR and other Soviet bloc countries making it very hard - its citizens from leaving the country?

If you're bored or just want a wide screen TV you can have your own riot. Just knock up a flag and attack a statue or a handy retail outlet.

🙂Yes it all sounds nice in theory but wouldn’t be in reality.

Coronawireless · 23/11/2020 17:18

The only way it would work would be if it’s properly organised.
And then of course it’s not anarchy.

I didn’t want to offend but that’s been my experience too of most of the anarchy-pushers I’ve met.

@Andante57

Butterer & Gwenhwyfar what do these masked people do when they’re not protesting? Or are there so many protests that they manage to protest full time?
No idea. I did used to know one person who went to EVERY protest around and obviously didn't have a job, but she wasn't bb anyway. The protest I saw them at was at the weekend so they may well have completely conventional jobs during the week.

Did anyone else notice the absolute savaging the eco policies got on the Conservative page? Utterly depressing.
I am grateful that Labour have 5 years to pull their socks up. However, they are going to have to shoulder an awful lot to pick up the utter messes of the (by then) 15 years of Tory reign.

We won't have riots or the nearest thing like at Orgreave during the Miner's strike, unemployment isn't yet as high as it was. We may have the Civil service, Nurses, NHS staff, Teachers, Council staff, Firefighters & Bin men out on strike because their pay has been frozen, but unless they all strike at the same time it won't have much effect, unions don't have the same power as they did, thanks to Mrs Thatcher.

EmilyFrost what is it exactly that you like about this government and its cheating, lying and incompetent leader? He stands up for cheats and bullies (Cummings and Patel) and has presided over the largest COVID death toll in Europe.
