Ever just order a curry on a Friday night, or get shitfaced together and have wild sex? Do they clean their children's vomit or does the help do that? Do they ever just slob around the house all day like slobs? Do they ever shout at their children? Do they ever swear?

So many questions! I just can't picture them being normal people.

OP posts:
decoratingnightmare · 19/11/2020 03:40

Kate IS a normal person or "commoner" as the DM like to call it. William seems pretty down to earth considering he was born into royalty.

decoratingnightmare · 19/11/2020 03:42

@PrincessNutNut

Why would their sex be less interesting than anyone else's?

My husband and I have various props and toys that we probably wouldn't use if we couldn't obtain them discreetly without anyone else knowing. Maybe they can use gold cord from the bed drapes or something.

😂😂😂
mrscampbellblackagain · 19/11/2020 05:38

The alleged OW wasn't a close friend of Kates though - they were just rural neighbours.

Honestly, none of us know the truth it is all speculation.

ConorMasonsWife · 19/11/2020 06:16

@PizzzaExpressWoking

I don't care about their personal lives (except where it relates to their status as publicly funded royals, press manipulation, exploiting their personal lives and family members for PR, etc.).

But it's appalling and so hypocritical that if anyone says anything about William or Kate that's not 100% positive, there's absolute outcry and they're called "vile" and all sorts of other names, yet the ten thousand past threads that existed solely to attack Harry and Meghan contained a million times more vitriol and often contained really nasty lies and libels invented by openly racist Tumblr hate sites, and no one except a handful of mostly non-white MNers ever objected to that, and those who did try to stand up to the vitriol became a target for mass abuse and even off-board stalking.

William and Kate are not perfect people who are above criticism. If you participate or turn a blind eye to threads calling Meghan Markle an evil narc whore then flip out because someone shared an opinion that Kate is out of touch or has a poor work ethic, then you're a massive hypocrite and need to address why you feel the two women should be held to such different standards.

All of this x10!

They've been friends since the Cambridges were married and moved into their country home. Also, OW's family has been friends of the RF for generations - one was one of the Queen's bridesmaids.

@ViciousJackdaw

When I was at uni I met quite a few posh persons of both sexes, and their language could make a navvy blush!

I've noticed this too. I suspect the truly posh are that self-assured in their poshness that they don't feel they need to put on a front.

I once had to tell off a pupil for f'ing and blinding, his response was that Hugh Grant said it in Love Actually! My response was when he could say it as sexily as High Grant he might get away with it!
mrscampbellblackagain · 19/11/2020 14:32

Kate seems to keep her super close friends ummm close, ie godparents to her children. I remain unconvinced that she was best mates with the alleged OW.

But clearly unlike some on this thread I am just speculating where as some people definitely know for sure Wink

mrscampbellblackagain · 19/11/2020 14:33

Also very interesting timing regarding the alleged affair rumours.

Also very interesting timing regarding the alleged affair rumours.
Why?
nevermorelenore · 19/11/2020 16:30

Maybe because William is currently pissed off at the BBC because of the Diana interview stuff that has been dredged up recently? That's just my guess though.

itsgettingweird · 19/11/2020 17:01

I imagine their is normal for them.

It must be challenging not just being able to pop out when you want.

I wonder how many play dates the children get. They may get to avoid soft play hell though!

I'm sure they do get take out. I know during lockdown 1 PW was visiting a bakery and said the children love breakfast pastries.
But despite all their privilege it must come at compromise because they can't just pop out themselves. Can't just order as and when they want. They have to rely on others - which I'm sure isn't as great as those of us who don't have that think it is.

If I just want to nip to Tesco at 7pm for something junky to eat I can go - even in a tracksuit etc. They don't appear to have that.

So yes. I I,agile they do normal things like us - but they also have to do them differently and the intrusion into their lives is the layoff for them.

movingonup20 · 19/11/2020 17:07

They definitely order curry because they have talked about takeaways before. They don't have a team of nannies either unlike previous generations (yes they have a nanny and a housekeeper but not the level of help his parents had). Being the parents of 3 young kids, do you really think they have the energy for wild sex??? Apparently they have a thinking chair for discipline and appear quite calm.

AmICrazyorWhat2 · 19/11/2020 17:15

@movingonup20. I reckon they do-just having a cleaner and a nanny would make a world of difference to my level of knackerdness...and I’ve got teenagers🤣

I don’t want to think about it, though, makes me feel slightly icky.

movingonup20 · 19/11/2020 17:17

@TibetanTerrier

How many are in the year for history of art at St. Andrews? She obviously had the grades to get in (they rejected me though years prior) . She would have had to applied before it was announced William was going there, deadline was months prior

IcedPurple · 19/11/2020 17:20

Given that they have a full household staff and that their 'work' consists of dressing up to be chauffeur driven to youth centres and hospitals once or twice a week, then yeah, I'd say they do have the energy.

ElizaDeee · 19/11/2020 17:29

I think Kate is very hands on. Shes very involved with early years stuff.

Buttercup54321 · 19/11/2020 18:11

I dont know.
But She ceased to be Kate Middleton when she married William lol

No no no! She snuck in at the last minute because it was always her and her mom's plan she'd be queen one day so she wore a see through dress and he's such an easily led man that he immediately fell in thrall to her and he had no choice but to follow his penis and marry her. They had it planned don't you know and he had no say in it. No way did he just fall in love with her. I bet she doesn't even love him. It's all just a plan to social climb. I read it on Mumsnet so it's TRUE!

SleepingStandingUp · 19/11/2020 18:36

I think Kate is very hands on regarding the children or the crazy drunken sex?

RubyViolet · 19/11/2020 18:45

Probably wrong to out them, as they deserve some privacy. It’s known locally in Norfolk ( don’t know about London, ) that they go running together very regularly at dusk/ dawn. I don’t think couples do that together unless there is some warmth or connection in their relationship.

ilikebooksandplants · 19/11/2020 19:11

Not that I really give a shit about any of them (The concept of royalty is vile) however my god, no one is ageing worse than Prince William. I am 32 and remember when he was a ‘heart throb’ type in the 90s like a PP mentioned. It surprises me every time I see photographs of him, he just looks like Charles now.

mrscampbellblackagain · 19/11/2020 19:12

@SleepingStandingUp Grin

I just think it was interesting that Kate and William ran a very tight ship confidentiality wise until the last couple of years when the rumours started.

I do think it is quite admirable they have kept the same nanny for so long, not many families manage that.

Possibly biased cos I'm the same age as him bit I think he pretty much looks his age. Ok he's lost his hair and he doesn't look 18 any more but frankly, who does 😂😂

isadoradancing123 · 19/11/2020 19:45

Why do people talk of divorce, they always look very happy?

mrscampbellblackagain · 19/11/2020 19:53

There seems to be a massive schism with people who like William or people who like Harry.

I actually think it is terribly sad that the brothers don't appear to be very close any more as no one apart from each other would know what growing up in that unique situation is like.

What we need is Mr Bashir to do a couple of interviews with Kate and Meghan Wink

Actually I think what Mr Bashir did was reprehensible.
