What I ordered vs what I got

My dog died at the beginning of September. I ordered one of these ornaments with ashes in for £85 after seeing the first picture on the crematoriums website. The other pictures are what I received... It’s too late to complain as it was delivered nearly 4 weeks ago days after my mum had a stroke, so I noticed it was crap but it just got bunged on a shelf. I’ve just compared it to the original pictures for the first time and realised it’s so bad it’s almost funny. It’s awful isn’t it?

I prefer the one you've got. The one with hair in it is creeping me out a bit.

Did they think you were getting more for your money with a bigger heart?

The one with the hair in is a bit strange, the other pics are much nicer

I prefer the one you have been given. The one with whiskers in it is horrible.

It’s not awful awful. But different from the 1st image. Would be worth sending an email explaining your disappointment though.

Someone I know ordered a lovely chair off eBay - turns out when it arrived through the letterbox it was a dolls house chair

I think all the photos are much of a muchness.

I thought it was swirls in the glass but yes that hair is really creepy.

Was your dog a big dog, so more ashes?

I understand the original might be creepy to some, but it looked well made. Ignoring the fur, the ball is cloudy; the heart is a different size, colour and place. The more I look at it the more I think a child made it

Christ I really need to slow down and read things properly. I thought you had got this orb with your mothers ashes and hair in it and I was wondering how I could delicately ask if you're quite alright.

I honestly couldn’t separate them for awfulness- possibly the hairy one is worse?

I couldn't choose between them OP, they are both very striking in different ways.

I can't stand either of them, they're awful. I'd pay £85 for someone to take it away .

Sorry for the loss of your dog. I'm confused. Is this correct:

• 1st pic with small, brown heart with hair is what you wanted?
• purple and speckled, larger heart is actually the same thing and what you received?

Sorry, but I agree that the hairy, small heart is awful, and a talking point for all the wrong reasons.
