Laughed to see him exiting Downing Street with his box , like an employee escorted off. I reckon he had his favourite mug , Far Side calendar, picture of Che Guerez , cactus plant and a bobble head of Boris. Any other ideas ?

Larry?

Nope, Larry's not part of that shit no more.

WorksTheDinerAllDay · 13/11/2020 20:43

Nothing. There's loads of exits from Downing Street away from the public and media eye. He just wanted one more moment of drama.

awaynboilyurheid · 13/11/2020 20:44

@TheSandman

Don't know, don't care, but I hope it was important to him and someone took a shit on it before he went.

My guess is his hard copy porn collection and Mr. Johnson's balls.

The transmitter he uses to call his home planet.

ddl1 · 13/11/2020 20:56

Anyone else starting to hum:

'So pack your toys away
You pretty boys away
Your 45's away
Your alibis away..

Your one-more-tries away
Your old tye-dyes away
You're moving out today

Pack up your dirty looks
Your songs that have no hooks
Your stacks of Modern Screen
Your portrait of the Queen
Your mangy cat away
Your baby fat away
You're headed that-away
You're moving out today

('45's, though extinct in the original meaning, could be quite appropriate here, as I know that some Americans who don't like to say Trump's name call him that, as he's their 45th president.)

Changechangychange · 13/11/2020 21:13

It actually upsets me how folk are still falling for this shite.

I really thought people had seen through this government but they haven't

Possible to both believe this was done purely for the cameras, and to enjoy taking the piss in this thread Grin

DianaT1969 · 13/11/2020 21:16

Does anyone know who leaked the recent lockdown news early?
I agree it's all staged and this "Carrie's faction is in power" dripfed to the Mail is nonsense. But I don't know why they are doing it like this. Other than Brexit and running the country has started to bore them and it feels too much like hard work and no fun now.

Al1langdownthecleghole · 13/11/2020 21:20

Someone had been briefing Robert Peston. He was told to tweet that Cain & Cummings had been messaging against Carrie.

Allegedly Boris showed them their own messages.

Cool story bro.

I don’t know why people don’t realise that we saw what he wanted us to see.

DS6: what has he got in that box?
Me: probably a mug
DS6: could he just have stuck that in his bag?

jay55 · 13/11/2020 21:26

All the biros he could lay his hands on.

AppleKatie · 13/11/2020 21:29

I can’t imagine there was anything at all in there.

Or you know his underpants just for a laugh

Serin · 13/11/2020 21:34

Oh come on, he is clearly in a helicopter on his way to the "I'm a sleb" filmset in North Wales.

PerkingFaintly · 13/11/2020 21:39

@LittleRa

The personal data of everyone person that lives in the U.K. and a jar of unicorn tears.
Yeah, I reckon our data as well.

Coronavirus was an absolute gift to him, as it meant data got pumped to data-processing companies for the (necessary) greater good, and now its out it'll be used for other things. Neither Cummings nor the Cambridge Analyticas and Palantirs of this world give a fig for data protection law.

Supposedly Cummings will continue to work from home on "Operation Moonshot" mass testing project. Well that's going to be about data, given it's Cummings. He's not a medic or logistics person and his personal actions proved he doesn't give a fuck about preventing CV spreading.

@Yogatomorrow

It actually upsets me how folk are still falling for this shite.

I really thought people had seen through this government but they haven't.

ssd What do you think is the purpose of this performance then?

I agree, it didn't need to be done in this way. Leaving through the front door, with a box with in front of the press = maximum humiliation. Not his style, unless he did a proper flounce (not unbelievable - he does seem a flouncer).

The purpose is so folk think Boris is in charge, when reality is Cummings us totally in charge
catsareme14 · 13/11/2020 21:45

An oven ready deal

"The purpose is so folk think Boris is in charge, when reality is Cummings us totally in charge"

Is he? He's much too visual for that. Someone is behind him - and still in place.
