To love crap food?

Ok, not often, granted but I could happily chow my way through any of the big bags of Happy Shopper brand crisps eg. onion rings or prawn cocktail twirls. You can keep your Kettle Chips.

I also love Frankfurter sausages and Cheesestrings.

What 'crap' foods do you love?

Yes you can get findus crispy pancakes certainly in Iceland, the bigger Iceland and farm foods plus occasionally I’ve seen elsewhere maybe Asda?

Mrsjayy · 14/11/2020 10:58

Farmfoods do a crispy pancake it isn't findus though and tbh they don't taste the same.

Mrsjayy · 14/11/2020 11:02

I'm with you Op I love cheap Maize snacks the cheaper the onion ring the betterSmile

WutheredOut · 14/11/2020 11:06

IItCantRainAllTheTime · 14/11/2020 11:17

Mini keivs and hamwiches.

Fedupwiththis70 · 14/11/2020 11:20

Fried eggs in bakery roll for me or kfc chicken burger.

PattyPan · 14/11/2020 11:58

@Imissmoominmama

Crisp butties. Fried egg butties. Cheese, quorn smoky ham and cheesy coleslaw butties. Tinned sweetcorn straight from the tin, on a spoon. Boiled eggs dipped in mayo mixed with Coleman’s mustard.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who eats sweetcorn like this!
CorianderLord · 14/11/2020 11:58

Omg pasta n sauce. My secret love

Iamnotminterested · 14/11/2020 12:01

@BillyGoatsChuff

Angel Delight, yes! Which flavour? Butterscotch for me (preferably topped with squirty cream).

@IItCantRainAllTheTime

And Hamwiches, between slices of, you've guessed it cheap white bread and salted butter.

Frey bentos pie. ♥️
I was coming on here to say exactly this! On one hand they resemble dog food on the other hand they are absolutely delicious especially when hungover!
Iamnotminterested · 14/11/2020 12:06

OP posts:
Iamnotminterested · 14/11/2020 12:06

I love how often white bread always features on these threads Grin I enjoy a guilty session on the white stuff too.

MrsGrindah · 14/11/2020 12:09

DH has just begged me to buy some spam.

BillyGoatsChuff · 14/11/2020 12:10

@Iamnotminterested
Yep butterscotch is my fave too. Although I could eat any flavour haha

I also love 80's style boil in the bag cod in parsley sauce Blush

Mrsjayy · 14/11/2020 12:11

Mrsjayy · 14/11/2020 12:13

@SweetMilkyFilth

I bloody love pork scratchings and the puffy ones too. There are lots of posh looking brands that sell these popping up so I don't feel too bad adding them to my shopping basket occasionally.

I also prefer cheap crisps. I've been craving golden wonder quarter backs (they're cheeseburger flavoured!) but can't find them anywhere. Spar brand bacon frazzles and purple packet transformer crisps are my favourite.

Does anyone know what brand of crisps these might be? It's a multipack and the outer packet is red and might have little cartoon bears/animals on them? Not pombears, they are wotsit type crisps.

Happy Snax maybe?

Mini keivs and hamwiches

I was going to post the exact same things Grin

Infinitethings · 14/11/2020 12:20

When I can’t think of anything I want to eat, I will often have a bowl of microwave rice with melted butter on the top.

AgeLikeWine · 14/11/2020 12:27

Supermarket sandwiches, the cheaper and more basic the better. I’m particularly partial to Asda’s tuna mayo on white and Co-op’s plain grated cheese on white. When I spot packs of sarnies on the yellow sticker shelf, I’m straight in there.

Also, I love tinned ravioli in tomato sauce, served on white toast.

Hesperatum · 14/11/2020 12:29

I raise you Sandwich Spread😁

MrsGrindah · 14/11/2020 12:29

And now I’ve just ordered a box of Banana Angel delight via Amazon Prime! Thanks you lot..I’m supposed to be saving AND dieting!

I love really really shitty crap food, but I also love the opposite kind of food people love to hate too like really blue cheese, caviar, blue steak, sea food. I think I like food with a lot of flavour, and I don't care if it's shitty MSG, or a shit tonne of salt that gives it it's flavour. Or maybe I'm just greedy. If I'm going out for breakfast I'd equally a love a spam and black pudding toastie or a brie and cranberry panini.

Some of my favourite crap foods include Roysters T Bone steak bubbly crisps, Reese's peanut butter Christmas trees, Mug Shots, Tuc sandwich crackers with the synthetic cheese filling, Laughing Cow blue cheese triangles, tinned ravioli, Bernard Matthews turkey ham, Turkey Dinosaurs, McCain's Smileys, Lidl Cheese dunkers (these are the ultimate in cheese dunkers... The cheese tastes like Primula). Shop bought pink taramasalata, Square crisp sandwich with mayonnaise.
