To love crap food?

Ok, not often, granted but I could happily chow my way through any of the big bags of Happy Shopper brand crisps eg. onion rings or prawn cocktail twirls. You can keep your Kettle Chips.

I also love Frankfurter sausages and Cheesestrings.

What 'crap' foods do you love?

Corned beef grated into mashed potato and then fried until crispy. Placed in between two slices of buttered white bread. Delicious 😋

Tonight has been bad.

I did my first home workout using my new free weights and ultra heavy bands - goblet squats, bench, dumbbell rows, Romanian deadlifts, etc. Really hit it hard for first time in months. I was then possessed with a hunger like I’ve not felt in months (which is saying something as I’ve been a right fat bastard lately!) and I ate a coronation chicken sandwich, two cheese twists from co-op bakery, a whole tube of Doritos Stax with a whole pot of houmous, a tub of spicy chicken drumsticks, and a whole cheesecake with extra thick double cream. 🥺

This is the best thread ever!

Mine ....:

Chipsticks
Chocolate Bourbon biscuits
Diner kebab with garlic Mayo
Sausage rolls
Homemade chips (always homemade!)
Super noodle sandwiches
Corned beef and tomato ketchup sandwiches
Lindt chocolate
Aldi beans with sausages

🤣🤣🤣 I picture this is what a buffet in heaven would look like!

LolaSparkle · 15/11/2020 05:20

Oooooh and original wagon wheels 🤤🤤🤤

LolaSparkle · 15/11/2020 05:26

And potted beef sandwiches .... I'm starving now 🤦🏽‍♀️

LordLancington · 15/11/2020 05:29

Bacon and brie sandwiches and chip butties are up there too...

Glitterbubbles · 15/11/2020 05:57

Vesta chow mein
Cheap onion ring crisps
Own brand mini fruit pies
Aldi chocolate

LunaNorth · 15/11/2020 06:05

Chilli and Lemon Grills from the overseas aisle in Tesco.

I don’t think a packet has ever made it into the house. I eat them all in the car on the way home.

Oh , yes, they are the best!
But I put them in the ‘healthy food’ category because they have so much less fat than crisps Grin

GordonsAlive85 · 15/11/2020 09:55

Pepperami

Actually, yeah.

Chilli - veg
Lemon - fruit
Grill - healthy method of cooking

They’re a salad.

Chicken shop spicy wings!

PearlclutchersInc · 15/11/2020 16:06

Salami sandwiches - white bread and butter

Cheese and onion sandwiches - white bread and butter

Chip butties ..... (white bread and butter naturally)

Used to adore Toast toppers, do they even exist any longer?

runninguphills · 15/11/2020 16:33

I like this thread. I usually eat "healthy" food but am partial to the following

Smash, beans and brown sauce
Bombat bad boy pot noodle
Cheesy wot sits (only thing I could eat for 9 months whilst I had hyperemesis with Dd1)
Diet coke - I love it more than anything in the world. However, I'm in rehab from it and trying not to fall off the wagon.

Hm2020 · 15/11/2020 16:40

Dairy lea dunkers, pork scratchings, peperamis and all types of crisps and anything savoury and full of crap oh and all the takeaways collectively

1Morewineplease · 15/11/2020 20:42

I sliced up a tin of Spam this morning and fried it. Had it alongside fried mushrooms and roasted tomatoes on toast. Heaven!

I'm also partial to instant noodles and Fray Bentos pies and tinned meatballs.

I loved Findus Crispy Pancakes and rediscovered them recently... not sure they taste the same or have as much filling ( maybe it's my memory?)

SilverStarburst · 15/11/2020 20:49

Omg!!! DH and I have noticed the McDonald's double big mac, sooo dirty but fancy it!!

SilverStarburst · 15/11/2020 20:52

Oh shit. Just realised that with my extra silly head on, sent my lovely vegitarian uncle pork scratchings in his birthday hamper. Will make up for it at Christmas- least said, sooner forgotten Blush

MynephewR · 15/11/2020 21:06

Donner meat and chips with lots of ketchup
Chocolate angel delight
Birdseye Crispy chicken and oven chips
Chicken and mushroom pot noodle
Those cheap individual chocolate dessert pots with fake cream on top

Yum!

lockdownbreakdown · 15/11/2020 21:23

Supernoodle sandwiches. Chicken flavour with heavily buttered cheap white slices bread. Heaven, and my breakfast of choice. Tinned beans and sausages with melted cheese on top and BBQ sauce. Also, amazing!
