To love crap food?

Ok, not often, granted but I could happily chow my way through any of the big bags of Happy Shopper brand crisps eg. onion rings or prawn cocktail twirls. You can keep your Kettle Chips.

I also love Frankfurter sausages and Cheesestrings.

What 'crap' foods do you love?

@CorianderLord

Soba noodle pots
Those are amazing but can't be classed as crap food. In the hierarchy of noodle type snacks in pots , they're at the top Grin

Dr Oetke Ristorante pizzas
Spaghetti and sausage from a fin
Heinz bolognese from a tin
Cheap wafer thin ham. That deli stuff can get in the bin.

MrsGrindah · 13/11/2020 19:12

Plastic squares of cheese
Dairylea
Angel Delight

Thick sliced cheap white bread for toast

I love crap white bread toasted and oven chips with chicken nuggets. I pretty much never have it but I do love it. Maybe I wouldn’t if I had it all the time though I guess.

WankPuffins · 13/11/2020 19:22

I love hospital food and airplane food.

I had Dd in august. I had a section and I had the best lunch - pie and mash followed by spotted dick. I sent Dh a photo and he said it looked awful but I loved it.

At 2pm they said I could go home (14 hours after a section but that’s another story!) and my first thought was “but I want a hospital dinner”. I was gutted.

@spidermomma oh yes! I put a blob of jam on top and call it a cheesecake.
Nosuchthingastoomuchcheese · 13/11/2020 19:42

Those fake rustler rib burgers from Aldi lush!

Jeds55 · 13/11/2020 19:49

Potato waffle sandwich. 2 waffles with slices of cheese in the middle, topped with loads of salad cream. Eat 2 of these at a time, want to eat more

kowari · 13/11/2020 19:50

I love bourbon biscuits with a mug of coffee, and brownies

grafittiartist · 13/11/2020 19:54

Plastic cheese slices

Jeds55 · 13/11/2020 19:54

@MrsGrindah yes to fig rolls. I have eaten whole packets of them in one sitting, its the texture I enjoy, its slightly odd. No one else I know seems to ever buy them

EssentialHummus · 13/11/2020 19:56

Yes to Dr Oetker!

Bacon rasher crisps. Chocolate "croissants" from a supermarket that are basically croissant shaped buns with nutella in the middle and sprinkles on top.

Birthday cakes, apropos of today's thread, ideally a fondant icing-heavy one from the yellow sticker shelf. I think fondly back to Bruce the Brussel Sprout cake from Asda. Bruce, no idea what you were doing on the shelf there back in September, but you were delicious.

Whathappenedtothelego · 13/11/2020 19:59

Baked beans served in a mug with a squirt of brown sauce and a cheap sausage to scoop them out (a la Alan Partridge.

Laughing cow cheese triangles on cheap white rolls.

MrsGrindah · 13/11/2020 20:00

@Jeds55 Exactly! They are best when freshly opened so you are morally obliged to eat the whole packet!

MrDarcysMa · 13/11/2020 20:02

Mine isn't snacks but more junk food meals. I rarely crave healthy food but I'm always lusting over a burger, Asian fried chicken, cheese toasties, anything that's likely to shorten my life expectancy tbh
