To love crap food?

Ok, not often, granted but I could happily chow my way through any of the big bags of Happy Shopper brand crisps eg. onion rings or prawn cocktail twirls. You can keep your Kettle Chips.

I also love Frankfurter sausages and Cheesestrings.

What 'crap' foods do you love?

Findus Crispie pancakes are the food of the Gods

Jellykat · 13/11/2020 20:39

Plain crisps with a gherkin and dairylea, yum!
Oh and Mr Kiplings Viennese whirls dunked in tea

Pinkstars2501 · 13/11/2020 20:39

Sharing bag of wotsits (or similar knock offs), but I like them if I've left the bag slightly open so they go soft Blush. I'm an animal...

OneTC · 13/11/2020 20:40

I'm eating chips with sate sauce right now Smile

Pinkstars2501 · 13/11/2020 20:41

Also chicken supernoodles with cut up tinned hot dog sausages. No regrets.

2020yearfromhell · 13/11/2020 20:41

Crisp butties, in fact, all crisps.
Cheese and onion rolls/slices.
Chocolate pop tarts

BrightYellowDaffodil · 13/11/2020 20:43

@CMOTDibbler Crisps like Frazzles

Oh yes. Dipped in sour cream and chive dip.

Not forgetting Greggs’ cheese and onion pasties. And that chocolate sauce you used to put on ice cream and it would set solid. There was a plain one and a mint one.

ItsA1WayStreet · 13/11/2020 20:43

Cheap frozen pizza with loads of extra cheddar added - you know, a cheese that actually tastes of something rather than that tasteless pale mozzarella crap

PoloNeckKnickers · 13/11/2020 20:43

Supernoodles with marrowfat processed peas.
Ringos cheese and onion crisps.

I've always wanted to try the tinned all day breakfast but am a bit scared by what I might find.

Yes with melted cheese on top!

Yum. Try it with a chopped up pepperami instead!
Oysterbabe · 13/11/2020 20:45

Pot noodles
Supernoodles
Cheap pies and sausage rolls
Chicken nuggets
Spaghetti hoops
All the above in white bread.

Best snack ever. Potato waffle in the toaster, buttered white bread, loads of Ketchup. Sandwich. Ready in minutes.

Zoeyclash · 13/11/2020 20:46

Love this thread.....
My guilty pleasure when it comes to food is definitely koka curry flavour noodles. I just love them! They're totally calorific so I don't think they're worth it so I only have them very rarely.
I also have to include cheesy wotsits in that list. Divine!

ItsA1WayStreet · 13/11/2020 20:46

Pot noodle on toast
Potato waffle with beans and a fried egg
Tinned ravioli

goteam · 13/11/2020 20:46

I'm vegan but eat A LOT of crap. Lidl do rip-off monster munch. I can eat 4 bags at once. Supermarket own brand bacon flavour rashers crisps and own brand chip sticks. Sandwiches with cheap sliced bread, fake meat, vegan smoked cheese slices (basically like dairy plastic cheese) and sriracha mayo with a side of nice and spicy nik naks is a favourite meal washed down with Rubicon fizzy passion fruit drink in a can. Jelly tots for pudding....

elp30 · 13/11/2020 20:46

I will buy a mint Vienetta whenever I visit my in-laws in England. I don't care if it's out of fashion and fake ice cream, I love it! There's nothing like the sound of breaking into all the layers of chocolate!

A kebab after drinking; a grilled sausage and onion bap that you find in those stalls in the town centers while shopping; battered sausages or saveloys at the chippy; Christmas isn't Christmas to me without a tall circular tub of Twiglets; smokey bacon crisps and lucozade...

I'm sure there's more but that's off the top of my head.

Oysterbabe · 13/11/2020 20:47

Tinned corned beef.

tempnamechange98765 · 13/11/2020 20:48

Oh YANBU. I love kiddie snacks, half the stuff I buy for DS' lunchbox (cheese strings, pepperamis) I end up eating myself!

Covidchameleon · 13/11/2020 20:48

I had waffles fishmongers and spaghetti hoops for dinner (there are no kids in the house).
It was supposed to be chicken curry from scratch but am feeling crappy and just couldn’t be arsed.

Pom bears and frij milkshake is another favourite

Icantrememebrtheartist · 13/11/2020 20:49

Lemon curd sandwich on thick white bread.
Pork and pickle pies
Liver sausage and slices of onion sandwich on white bread

Covidchameleon · 13/11/2020 20:49

Ffs fish fingers

LaVitaPuoEsserePiuBella · 13/11/2020 20:49

White KitKat chunky

vintagesewingmachine · 13/11/2020 20:51

@BrightYellowDaffodil I think that stuff was called Ice Magic. My sister and I were rarely allowed chocolate so when a bottle of the coveted stuff was bought, we used to squeeze it onto a plate a put it in our tiny freezer compartment then scrape it off with a spoon when it set.

minipie · 13/11/2020 20:52

Frankfurters
Cheese strings
Plastic cheese slices
Supernoodles
Pom bears and other reconstituted crisps
Pizza Hut

Basically anything with masses of salt and fat

RaraRachael · 13/11/2020 20:53

Cheese balls - I could eat a large bag all by myself, no problem Grin
