As of this morning no permits have been sought or granted, unlike the Women's March and the other major post-election rallies in 2016. But I suppose these yahoos don't think they need no stinkin' permits, being all 'sovereign citizens on the land' that they are. The problem is that these miscreants are just looking for reasons to become violent, again unlike the protests in 2016.
Sounds a bit like what Farage wanted to do but couldn't be arsed to actually organise properly.

Where Trump’s recount fundraising dollars are really going
Money raised to pay for recounts goes to covering campaign debts, funding future political activities and boosting like-minded figures.
Key points:
- The Trump campaign has a recount fund, but the money won’t go to it unless someone gives more than $8,333.
- Until Tuesday, the majority of a donation went to helping Trump’s campaign cover its debt.
- Now 60 percent of a donation up to that amount for Trump’s “Official Election Defense Fund” is routed to a new PAC started this week by the president that can pay for a wide range of activities — but is likely legally barred from spending on recounts, lawyers say.
- The remaining 40 percent goes to the Republican National Committee, which is allowed — but not required to — spend on the recount.
Trump’s insistence that there was voter fraud and demands for recounts are helping create post-election unity among his base, and raise money the president can use to keep his political career afloat after January, political fundraisers and campaign finance experts told POLITICO
Its about him retaining influence over the party. And for the party its about retaining voters that they otherwise couldn't reach.
Follow the money.
