Mine was house plant potting mix, long lighters, and little packets of yeast to make bread. Couldn’t get hold of any of them and thy all would have made such a difference to my life.

SnackRussell · 02/11/2020 22:14

Or his twin Idris Elba.

DilysPrice · 02/11/2020 22:14

Yes I rate it. The whole family use it, and it can be as easy or tough a workout as you want it to be.

As above but also get cards. Birthday, Xmas etc from a card shop or weep over laying £3.50 for a card in sainsburys for a folded piece of paper

Mamanyt · 03/11/2020 00:55

"Easy" meal choices. The longer things go on, the less inclined I am to actually cook meals from scratch.

Ravenesque · 03/11/2020 01:29

I needed some painkillers yesterday so asked a neighbour. I was expecting ibuprofen or paracetamol or maybe both. I got a twenty capsule blister of Tramadol. Took a couple last night and lockdown is going to be a bit easier this time around!

PhilSwagielka · 03/11/2020 01:38

Sanity.

Puffler · 03/11/2020 01:52

Furlough.

2 x parents WFH full time with a 3 turning 4 year old and 7 year old was hard work and nearly led to divorce. Homeschooling did not go well. I was and still am on reduced pay anyway but with extra work as so many of the team were furloughed. Although they’ve now lots their jobs whereas I do still have one. It was a stressful time. I’m glad schools are open this time.

Crakeandoryx · 03/11/2020 02:41

Furlough or a nanny. Working full time, looking after our parents and teaching my children was unbelievably stressful. I'm not recovered and I simply cannot do it again.

orangejuicer · 03/11/2020 02:54

More stock for my eBay shop.
Gutted I haven't had enough notice to stock up this time, as Nov and Dec are my most lucrative months.

Littleideasbigbook · 03/11/2020 08:08

Vitamin D and Iron (ongoing health issues mean I bleed cupfuls of blood every month and ache. I am now dreaming about feeling ill, can't even escape it in my dreams).

Still not resolving going into this lockdown so not sure even have a stock in is going to help.

moonbells · 03/11/2020 09:25

Me. Leave was cancelled and no WFH.

I'd have loved to stay home and work, and not have the drive in, even though I didn't have to do school run too. This time will be much worse because I'll have both work and school to deal with. Grass is always greener, eh?

Also gym. Solved by acquiring a folding treadmill in July which is FAB. Already had kettlebell and hand weights.

Noitjustwontdo · 03/11/2020 09:29

Pasta. We struggled to buy pasta for at least 2 months so we ended up making our own by hand.

autumnboys · 03/11/2020 09:34

Another vote for furlough, which I will have to live without this time too, but at least I won’t be homeschooling for this round.

mscongeniality · 03/11/2020 09:38

A baby that sleeps through the night. He's 10 months now and goes 6-8 hours at a stretch now!
