Mine was house plant potting mix, long lighters, and little packets of yeast to make bread. Couldn’t get hold of any of them and thy all would have made such a difference to my life.

A greenhouse. I fixed that though, and now have a decent size done (8 metres x 4 metres). It's brilliant for growing obviously, but also for avoiding other people.

xanthippe8 · 01/11/2020 21:02

Spelt flour and yeast, got enough to last a few months now (not panic bought, just steadily accumulated).

Oh I'd love that, if only the garden was big enough. I do realise I'm fortunate to have a garden though.
Crunchymum · 01/11/2020 21:06

A garden

Littlecaf · 01/11/2020 21:07

A bigger house. Not massive, just an extra room to get away from the kids. And for them to get away from us!

Raffaella13 · 01/11/2020 21:08

For me I would have loved a more comfortable sofa!

Our house has been a project since we bought it and I never got round to buying a desk and chair for my little 'office room'.

Teaching from my sofa (which was a cheap one) has been so uncomfortable when bent over a laptop day after day.

longtompot · 01/11/2020 21:10

Bread flour, yeast and eggs

Kindlethefourth · 01/11/2020 21:11

Tinned tomatoes.

Hopeisnotastrategy · 01/11/2020 21:11

Dijon mustard for sauces.

Plenty of notebooks and pens.

My daughter.

We were in Spain for four and a half months. 🤣

sqirrelfriends · 01/11/2020 21:11

A nanny or furlough. Wfh with a toddler was literally the hardest, most frustrating thing I've ever done and I think it's aged me by about 10 years.

For those saying rope, I really hope you're ok and just joking around.

MinnieJackson · 01/11/2020 21:12

More easy craft stuff for the kids and earplugs Grin

Bergerdog · 01/11/2020 21:20

Eyebrows Grin
Mine vanished due to not being able go get them tinted and I’m dreading it happening again Blush

Ideasplease322 · 01/11/2020 21:22

Lots of Books. I find it difficult to pick them online and love browsing for them in bookstores.

Oh and wine😊

Just moved into a new house and had put off having my hair cut. It drove me mad! So when lockdown mentioned couple of weeks ago in Ireland made an appointment straight away! Also bought hair dye but thankfully not the hysteria there was last time and plenty of supplies of everything

Ideasplease322 · 01/11/2020 21:23

And equipment for working from home - a good office chair, mouse mat, office paper and lots and lots of notebooks.

Hobnobsandbroomstick · 01/11/2020 21:23

Hand cream.
Night cream.
Exercise bike.
Garden.

LindaEllen · 01/11/2020 21:23

It's not really something I regret not having in as such, but when I lived at my mum's I created a sort of home gym in the spare room, with a treadmill, bike, weights, workout mat, tv on the wall and water dispenser .. my house now has no spare room for even one item of exercise equipment, but I never missed it more than during the last lockdown. My brother and mum made the most of it, though.

Effective contraception Blush

Duemarch2021 · 01/11/2020 21:27

Duemarch2021 · 01/11/2020 21:28

@ItsOnlySab

Sweetchillijam · 01/11/2020 21:30

A personal live in chef, personal trainer, hairdresser, beautician and decorator rolled into one and some will power.

Snowmonster · 01/11/2020 21:30

All manner of DIY stuff.
Tiles
Tile cement
Wallpaper
Wallpaper paste
Paint
Wood
Hardboard
And general DIY stuff that is deemed 'non essential' but is essential to stop me getting bored shitless.

BrassicaBabe · 01/11/2020 21:34

I fear this time the answer is going to be "daylight and sunshine " Sad

airbags · 01/11/2020 21:35

A bolthole at the bottom of garden with a sofa, a kettle and pile of books.
New wardrobes to store everything beautifully after a clearcut.
The willpower to use the Peloton my husband bought the week before lockdown.

BananaPop2020 · 01/11/2020 21:35

Time. My workload increased massively in the last lockdown and it is set to increase again with this one. Working from home means 9-5 has become 8-8 😐
