I'm genuinely curious to see where the majority lie on this - some people will be terrified of losing their jobs and homeschooling again whereas others would love a few more months of WFH or furloughing and extra family time.

Australia has closed it’s borders for a long time into the future. N Z did so almost right at the start.
That makes a huge difference to the reinfection rate. Our small local outbreak was caused by someone going to Spain but not complying with the self isolation rules.

As I said, far too many loopholes and too much non compliance but the Brits must have their cheap holiday in the sun. It’s their human right.

Yep.
We were allowed to go on holidays so why wouldn’t we ?
We followed all the guidelines for the U.K. and the country we were visiting and you can get bent if you’re going to pin covid on those of us who were lucky enough to go away this summer .

Well if the cap fits... yes our local outbreak WAS started by someone who Spain and caught it there. He admitted it.

Maybe you should take a good hard look at yourself. It’s the selfish attitude of those like you who have got us into this situation.
