I really love sex with my partner, but despite this some strange things pop into my head while doing the deed. Last time specifically:

I've been off sex since I came off my antidepressants to get pregnant - just can't be bothered and often feel horribly violated even better kissing. Well aware this sucks for my DH so try to push through it and find the fun, he used not to notice but has started to and it makes it really difficult for us both. The other night I started off feeling like I'd let it go to long without and I better had, was struggling a bit then it sort of clicked and we did it twice! 😁

And yes, people who have a go at women who do it and don't like it, seriously sod off. It's horrible when you lose your libido - the shame, the guilt for your partner, the grief for your own lost pleasure, and the horrible choice of either only doing it when you really want to (almost never) or doing it when you don't want to just to keep things ticking over, is grim.

I was thinking that I love having sex with my OH in hotels, because it reminds me of the first time we went away for the weekend together.

I bet my partner does too hopefully one day whatever hormone crisis childbirth plus depression precipitated me into a couple of years ago will settle down and I will be able to want it again without being on medication. I was worrying about the effect on my pregnancy, we haven't had sex since, I'm too anxious.
