To consider seducing the hot neighbour?

No idea how I'd go about it in practice but:

Hot (and I think single neighbour) is seriously gorgeous. I think he caught me admiring him from the window once when he was scantily scad one morning 😁 I did a very obvious 'quick look away from the curtain' move.

Anyway I see him out and about a lot/we say hello but that is it. Today I ran downstairs to collect something a friend was dropping off with NO make up thinking I'll see no one (but a great hair day) and there he was coming home. I clocked him giving me that up and down body sweep then he actually stopped and tried to talk to me. I rushed off to see my friend and when I came back he was still hanging around and began talking to me again (and checked me out again 😃). I had to leave but I was left thinking 'oh he fancies you too!'.

YANBU - dont ever sleep with or date a neighbour, that's crazy
YABU - It's gonna be a long cold (possibly locked down) winter, go for it.

I have no strategy and am open to suggestions. Just wanted to hear what people think.....

Can you afford to move when it all goes horribly wrong?

Rae34 · 10/10/2020 19:59

I got the YABU/YANBu wrong. Oh well you get the idea !

Go for it! And if it did go wrong (but let’s not be pessimistic) you can just be super British and pretend it never happened 😂

Nsky · 10/10/2020 20:00

Ask him in for a coffee, see what he says

Rae34 · 10/10/2020 20:00

Oh I should say I will probably be moving in the next couple of months. Almost a certainty.

Lucky you. All I do when I see my nearest neighbour is shudder.

buildingbridge · 10/10/2020 20:01

....... personally I wouldn't. What happens if your break up and you start seeing his new girlfriends coming in and out of the house? Personally, I'd like to keep my distance with neighbours... though it depends..

theclockticksslowly · 10/10/2020 20:01

If you’re moving anyway there’s nothing to lose. Definitely go for it!

buildingbridge · 10/10/2020 20:02

Sorry. Just seen your update. If your moving, then that's a different story,

Honeyandapple · 10/10/2020 20:03

Well since you're moving away, go for it.
If you owned the house and you were staying there forever then definitely not.

caringcarer · 10/10/2020 20:06

Go for it. You have nothing to lose if you are moving soon anyway.

heidbuttsupper · 10/10/2020 20:07

I did! It's going great Wink

grassisjeweled · 10/10/2020 20:08

Omg go for it! Tell us more!

Ages since we had a hot neighbour thread

Oysterbabe · 10/10/2020 20:10

Definitely do it him

NotMyFinestMoment · 10/10/2020 20:11

Not on your own doorstep springs to mind. If it all goes horribly wrong, you will be stuck with him and the gossip from the surrounding neighbours forever.

Carycy · 10/10/2020 20:12

Go for it. If you are moving the timing is perfect!!!

Sexnotgender · 10/10/2020 20:13

Go for it.

ReallySpicyCurry · 10/10/2020 20:18

You're moving? Go for it. You'd be daft not to

DotTheCaddy · 10/10/2020 20:20

I think I would date a neighbor if I liked them. How long have you been seeing him around?

If you are moving I would definitely keep the flirty banter going to see what happens! Try and slip some personal questions in if you can Grin

Pumpkinnose · 10/10/2020 20:27

Do it!!!!! Yummy😍

AnotherEmma · 10/10/2020 20:29

YANBU, go for it and report back

KitMarlowesCodpiece · 10/10/2020 20:33

Oh, God, do it! What's there to lose?

j712adrian · 10/10/2020 20:34

Watch a few episodes of BBC’s Ever Decreasing Circles and then decide.

BewilderedDoughnut · 10/10/2020 20:36

Get it girl!
