I've seen someone selling Body Shop advent calendars for £36!

Furrydogmum · 03/10/2020 17:12

What is it Regina?

manicinsomniac · 03/10/2020 17:13

Letsbesensible - at least one of those bars of chocolate is a Galaxy one. And they're big ones, not the standard size. Do Home Bargains do those that cheap? Fair enough if they do, my pricing was just a guess. I still think I'd buy something like from a friend without feeling like I was being ripped off. Though I don't live near any bargain shops so I'd have to add petrol to any saving which might make me more sympathetic to facebook 'crafters'!

Iola4 · 03/10/2020 17:13

I just get puzzled by ppl who sell crafts that look like the sort you'd make with the kids...craft kits, yes! Why don't they sell these?! It'd occupy the kids for a while and you have a keepsake at the end.

I quite like the Reindeer & the Rudolph plant pot!

Christmas Tinner-I couldn't guess what's what in that!

Well maybe peas & carrots!

Reminds of the 12 days of Christmas handmade thing that was being sold on eBay! Anyone else remember that one?

The centre piece that was a pile of caulk with plastic figures on and cost £1,000? I just had a look for it but can't find it.[/quote]
That must have been joke though surely Xmas Grin

@Mammylamb

I suppose if anyone is looking to get their kid some new pants at a bargain price, these preloved boden pants are an idea
@mammylamb your post is giving the persons name out, it needs removing.
Iola4 · 03/10/2020 17:30

HottoCold... I'm trying to play 'guess the layers'.
I feel confident about the Turkey/sprouts/cranberry & gravy but that white stuff with brown speckles in it 🤢

shinynewapple2020 · 03/10/2020 17:31

@Crinkle77

Which ones ? New body shop calendars start at £50 in store or on website

In answer to the poster asking why people sell these things - presumably for extra cash ?? Easier to understand why people sell them than buy them although TBF whilst I wouldn't buy this kind of stuff off Facebook I would certainly buy some of it if sold at a school fair .

I really like the painted pebbles .'

zzzebra · 03/10/2020 17:31

Best I've got at the moment...

Bread sauce? Or very anemic stuffing 😂
AdoraBell · 03/10/2020 17:33

I reckon that Santa has started on the brandy early this year, can’t say I blame him actually.

throwingawaymyshot · 03/10/2020 17:33

I'm laughing at 'Cork naivety' 😂 That's the best way to describe it.

inappropriateraspberry · 03/10/2020 17:35

Or the top is the pudding and cream 🤢

theviewfromhalfwaydown · 03/10/2020 17:36

Brussels of course!

Thelnebriati · 03/10/2020 17:41
