Well, MN, does he or doesn't he?

YANBU - no, he doesn't have it
YABU - yes he probably does, why would they lie?

Is this just some ploy to miss next debates and make him look 'tough' when he sails through it without getting ill?

I don’t think he exactly think it is a hoax but he did downplay it and think it is just like the flu and no one shut down everything over the flu. So he is demanding school and businesses to go back to normal. He doesn’t think about how it affect people who usually take flu shot because of their health conditions but can’t take anything for this and they expect to go back to work/school risking their health. He doesn’t even let people have an option.

KEY POINTS
President Donald Trump's doctors are using almost every drug in the Covid-19 arsenal to treat him and some doctors worry that they might be going overboard.
Trump's team of doctors at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center said the president has taken Gilead's antiviral drug remdesivir, Regeneron's antibody cocktail and the steroid dexamethasone.
The president could very well be the only Covid-19 patient to receive all three treatments, Dr. Leana Wen, former Baltimore City Health Commissioner, said.

That page doesn't support your claim though.

Trump says plenty of daft things for everyone to talk about - no need to perpetuate the made up stuff.

MissConductUS · 05/10/2020 19:37

RN here. Of course he has it. The way he acts it's a miracle it took this long for him to get infected. There are far too many people involved in his care to keep it secret if he's faking it. It would also require the falsification of medical records. You can get your license suspended for that. It's also his worst nightmare politically.

tammy909 · 05/10/2020 19:46

He’s leaving hospital very shortly.

It doesn’t add up!

I mean the fact he supposedly has had a bad case and yet he’s going home today doesn’t add up.
MissConductUS · 05/10/2020 19:59

I mean the fact he supposedly has had a bad case and yet he’s going home today doesn’t add up.

VIP's are almost always overtreated, especially when they have lots of doctors involved in their care. And for him, "home" includes a fully staffed and lavishly equipped medical clinic. He's also just an 8 minute helicopter ride from Walter Reed if he has to go back.

Janegrey333 · 05/10/2020 20:19

He’s been telling lies. What a pitiful human being.

blueberrypie0112 · 05/10/2020 20:21

People can be treated in the comfort of their home. I bet he is bringing his medical team with him

blueberrypie0112 · 11/10/2020 03:31

www.nytimes.com/2020/10/10/health/covid-nevada-testing-nursing-homes.html I wonder if this the case with Trump. That he had false positive?

Pixxie7 · 11/10/2020 03:46

I don’t think your being unreasonable but I think he did, he is covering up a cough and his breathing is shallow.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 11/10/2020 05:55

If that was a false positive then there’s something else seriously wrong with him. He’s clearly having problems with breathing.

I’d imagine that if the debate on Weds was going ahead and Trump was taking part then he’d have had some obvious problems.

knittingaddict · 11/10/2020 10:05

Is there more recent film of him having breathing difficulties? I saw the one on the balcony when he arrived back from hospital, but nothing since. I could look, but I can't stand to look at him or hear his voice.

He seemed to be gasping on the balcony film and I'm struggling with the idea of a complete recovery since then.

00100001 · 11/10/2020 11:10

I think slot if people forget that even though Trump is the world's biggest prat, he is, after all, still the POTUS. Equivalent in seniority and importance to the Queen here, and perhaps more so.

Of course they will look after him, and given him 13 doctors and show everyone he's well and alive etc.

And Trump, being Trump will of course be a part and be racist and still call it 'the China virus' go on about how it wasn't so bad (because obviously the 200+k people who died in The US from this naturally had exactly the same course of treatment to him...)

But he's clearly poorly, and still I'll. But he won't say that, will be?

Yes, he spoke in public today and ready to go to rallies
blueberrypie0112 · 11/10/2020 11:12

And the doctors says he is not contagious anymore

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 11/10/2020 12:37

Unlike normal human beings, who are likely to be infectious for at least ten days after testing positive. That was announced at 11.56 on Thursday night, and if we go by ten days from that, he still ought to stay isolated at least until 11.56 tonight.

knittingaddict · 11/10/2020 13:17

Hmm, in all honesty he didn't seem as breathless (or even at all breathless) as he had a day or so ago.

I know it's obscene to sound disappointed about that, but he brings out all the worst in me.

blueberrypie0112 · 12/10/2020 02:23

I am reading more about the medication he took, here is what the company had to say about him claiming he has immunity to Covid: www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/regeneron-ceo-cautions-trumps-results-are-a-case-of-one-and-coronavirus-drug-needs-more-testing-11602461113

I can see how it may be temporary, I remember reading about breast milk giving babies temporary immunity to viruses , but it doesn’t mean they won’t get it nor they will have immunity after they are weaned.

EmeraldShamrock · 12/10/2020 14:28

He looks very well for a man of his age diagnosed with covid considering his weight, blood pressure guessing he has high blood pressure by his red face
With the best drugs in the world it could be true.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 12/10/2020 14:33
