The Daily Mail, has lost the plot, in decreeing that MadeForMums is in fact the UK's number one parenting site now, and not Mumsnet??

Everyone needs different online sites at different times of their lives. Forums really shouldnt try and compete but should co-exist for the different needs of their members, which might mean being on more than one site, or just one...whatever suits.

I have fingers x'd this might happen but maybe I'm just naive

I post on a few different forums. None of them troll MN. I'd leave or point out how stupid trolling is, if they did.

Reddit does get zapped, if you mention the board which discusses Mumsnet - happened to me up thread!

Good as they are some of the nastiest posters I have ever come across. The sooner that board dies out the better plus I wish I had the hours in a day that they seem to have

I think that other site looks quite nice. I don’t use Reddit or netmums but mumsnet feels like a really unpleasant, over moderated place lately.

Just looking at the threads with new posts, there only seems to be one about here which looks to be a long running one. They don’t appear to be trolling. Love the various different functionality!

There is only one thread about MN, and it is critical. It is a tiny part of the site though. The other threads are similar to here, but differentiated by being much kinder in tone. Bullies are not tolerated and people can ignore posters if they want.
