It's a very depressing statistic.

It sort of demonstrates, in a very sad way after all, that there is a need for a little board to talk on. That's three hundred people almost, seemingly happy for people to talk about anything and everything on their own little boards.

Except black mumsnetters who want to talk about things, that, mostly, other people aren't even genuinely interested in.

I haven't read all the posts but don't know if anyone responded to the point that it's a bit rich when Mumsnet itself has been attacked repeatedly for it's name and the fact it is predominantly women posting... By men.

Don't worry, @EchoCardioGran . My hope is that over time, the board will flourish and develop, and people who were in doubt before will see why it was so important to us.

Also, on that note, @Quaagars I forgot to mention before, if you see a dish on that thread that you like the sound of, please do ask for a recipe! I'm not saying that the poster will necessarily have a recipe but I'm excited at the idea of people discovering African and Caribbean cuisine at home.

Definitely may have to pop up every now and again wanting a recipe, all sounds so good

I know many employers are afraid to pull someone up on work related issues as they worry about the usual "is it because I'm black" nonsense. I think this is completely reverse racism against whites but of course so many will agree with this forum and and praise those involved just so to prove they are non racist.
