It's a very depressing statistic.

It sort of demonstrates, in a very sad way after all, that there is a need for a little board to talk on. That's three hundred people almost, seemingly happy for people to talk about anything and everything on their own little boards.

Except black mumsnetters who want to talk about things, that, mostly, other people aren't even genuinely interested in.

Don't worry, @EchoCardioGran . My hope is that over time, the board will flourish and develop, and people who were in doubt before will see why it was so important to us.

Also, on that note, @Quaagars I forgot to mention before, if you see a dish on that thread that you like the sound of, please do ask for a recipe! I'm not saying that the poster will necessarily have a recipe but I'm excited at the idea of people discovering African and Caribbean cuisine at home.

FFS all those banging on about what was said days ago about no whites allowed when it wasn't said, can you just all just jog on and accept there is a Black MNers board and it is busy and interesting. I don't have much to say on it, but I am keeping a keen eye on the recipes as I am an experimental cook and love new recipes. (experimental is not always good in our house!)
