What is the most serious injury you have had?

I haven't had any really serious injuries , just a few cuts and bruises

I had a seizure whilst ironing and woke to the iron make a 3rd degree burn the shape of the iron on my thigh.

I fell out of a second storey window. Broke my hip, ankle and cracked my coccyx.
I was extremely lucky, the Drs said that if I'd landed slightly differently I'd (very likely) have been completely paralysed.

Broke five bones in my back and damaged a sixth taken the bin out.
It was just the weight of me pulling it as I have severe osteoporosis.
It did heal, but I'm in constant pain and have to be very careful now as the bones are weakened.
Oh, and it fucking hurt!

@Ringsender2 I fell off a horse - he reared and span suddenly and I just went off sideways and landed on the heel of my hand I think. All of the things I did are incredibly rare, and I got a paper written about me as the combination hadn't been seen before. I'd have been better off amputating my arm as the results would be better, and now I have a useless, painful arm. Which couldn't now be amputated due to the nerve pain condition I developed due to the nerve injuries

Jesus mine doesn't sound so bad now!
I was about 9/10 & got hit in the face by a hard swingball bat (i was stood way too close) i had an extra tooth at the time high up in my gum so that split through my lip up to about halfway to my nose which resulted in a few stitches & a fat lip for ages.

Fell off my bike - broke both bones in right arm, dislocated elbow, dislocated shoulder, cracked head, knees both skinned down almost to the bone, sharp rock lodged deep in my arm.

Fecking hurt did that one. I was 11.

I was on an exercise kick, walking back to the train station from work one afternoon (it was about 10km away). Saw i wasn't far from my car and, no idea how it happened, next thing I know I'm face planting into the footpath. Didn't even get my hands out to break my fall - landed straight on my face. Slightly knocked myself out. Stood up woozily and some lovely men stopped to help me. Had blood pouring out my nose. Luckily i didn't break my teeth or nose, but my face was a mess.

A bf broke my nose and split my lip. Many years later, I had to have an operation for a deviated sceptum which was causing breathing problems. Fine now except for the small hole in my sceptum where the NHS surgeon fucked it up made a slight mistake.

Ouch to a lot of these
