To ask how many friends you have?

I was thinking today about it I’ve only got two. I occasionally chat to a few others but they aren’t friends. Has this changed as you got older? I used to a big group of friends till my mid 20’s

I am a mum of 2 in my 30s and I work part time in a stressful job. I have perhaps 4-5 close friends, but no best friend (except my DM and DH).

Then perhaps a further 10 who know bits about me and I would go for coffee with (mainly colleagues and ex colleagues as I invested ten years of my life training for my career).

If any of those who have posted about being sad about their lack of friends want to message me I am always happy to chat. I can’t bear the thought of anyone being lonely, life is scary enough x
