Anxiously waiting for a important call...

Had an interview Wednesday for my dream job, was told i would get a call today telling me if i was successful. What time do you think they will call before? The wait is killing me... i thought they would call first thing and put us out our misery. Was 7 people interviewed for the role. Do you think they would call the successful or unsuccessful candidates first?

It is all consuming for you, but it just one of many tasks in their day, DS did a trial shift, nothing after 48 hours, convinced himself he hadn't got it.

Seventy two hours later, a job offer and said it was a very impressive trial shift, point being it was all he was thinking about, the HR person had other things to do.

Sorry to be negative, but they will call the job offer first. They will then wait for a written acceptance. They don't want to blow you all off if they're not going to accept the job! However, I think they would let the definite 'nos' know, so you are possibly a backup, which is a good place to be. Or they are taking their time, but you are definitely not a no!

🤞🏾Good luck, I'm guessing 6.30.
Ive have been called that late before and been successful. They apologised and said they didn't want to leave me hanging on all weekend, but they had, had a full on day. So you may be in for a long wait. 🤞🏾

I’m going to be the odd one out (sorry) and say that they won’t call. HR are useless at the best of times 😂 I’m going to say they’ll call on Tuesday.
