What is "The Document"????

Foofi - I know

FrannyandZombie · 05/10/2007 22:47

Yes

in a pan

and then I cook in the pan

(it hasn't got BLOOD in it when I boil it. It's just a bit of rubber)

Gingerbear · 05/10/2007 22:47

I use the pan that I boil the dog mince in.

I have many secret documents. I think SpookyBear wants the one about heuristic play.

FrannyandZombie · 05/10/2007 22:48

I use the pan that I made your last cup of tea in.

Gingerbear · 05/10/2007 22:48

Franny, hactually, it is silicone, not latex, so you cannot call it rubber.

professorplum · 05/10/2007 22:48

I don't boil mine. I put it in a cup with a bit of sterilising tablet. Not sure if its really necessary. I've been using it for 4 months and it leaks but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Possibly I need a new pelvic floor . I can't seem to get it to form a seal.

SpookyBearistheSpookyBear · 05/10/2007 22:48

Lol at Gingerbear.

Thanks re Document F&Z

shimmy · 05/10/2007 22:48

I found that mine leaked because I was inserting it too far. Now I have the technique.

1 Insert
2 Clench vaginal muscles and tug down gently
3 Check that it has fully unfolded by running finger round neck

Oh yes, and wipe yourself before, during and after to avoid smearing.

Gosh talk abput tmi...

corblimeycharlie · 05/10/2007 22:48

I do have a special pan for the mooncup. But it is one had seen much active service before being reserved for special duties.

LittleBella · 05/10/2007 22:49

You have a keeper? Wossat? Sounds like something out of a Harry Potter book

lilolilmanchester · 05/10/2007 22:49

OK, sold! Will try one. Just one question.... what do you do at work when you need to empty & rinse them? The sinks in our loos are separate to the toilets, ie no privacy.

SpookyBearistheSpookyBear · 05/10/2007 22:50

My pelvic floor is totally f**d so am guessing they're not for me. Even if I didn't think WTF .

Spiderhammer · 05/10/2007 22:50

YANBU. YABIgnorant though.
They're great! Other methods are foolish, clumsy, dated and quaint.

I see tampon users like I see village women who believe in witchcraft and think the world is flat.

You'll catch up, eventually.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 05/10/2007 22:51

Ah ha....

and by heuristic play you mean.......?

Gingerbear · 05/10/2007 22:51

plummy's technique

corblimeycharlie · 05/10/2007 22:51

Bottle of water in the handbag Lilo. Or just put it back in without rinsing.

AitchTwoOh · 05/10/2007 22:52

i use the dishwasher. it's wiped clean and rinsed beforehand, the dishwasher sterilises it. then i boil it in a pan before i use it.
i find it a bit weird that people are so easily squicked, by the way...

chankins · 05/10/2007 22:53

What does squicked mean ? (I'm ignorant)

VeniVidiVickiQV · 05/10/2007 22:53

Oh spooky dont worry. I understand they do 3 sizes of mooncup.

Normal/Pre-Birth
Post Birth
Wizards sleeve.

professorplum · 05/10/2007 22:53

How low down should it be when its inside? I've cut all the stem off but judging by the length of it if you don't trim it it should be about level with your nipples

taffy101 · 05/10/2007 22:54

It need emptying so infrequently you would probably rarely need to do it. I think uughh at just wiping it with loo roll. I have gone a whole work shift not emptying it TBH
