AIBU to wonder what conspiracy theories you think may hold some weight?

Generally speaking I hate conspiracy theories, but is there anything out there that’s passed off as a conspiracy theory that you think holds some weight? I personally have some questions about the assassination of JFK.

Covid didn’t come from eating bats (which the Chinese and others have been doing for thousands of years btw..) it cane from the medical lab in Wuhan.

You should read a book called The Deadliest Enemy: Our War Against Killer Germs. The book explains pretty much all you could want to know about viruses, one of the things it talks about is bats being a likely reservoir for SARS and other types of coronaviruses.
Here's a quote from the book warning about another possible SARS outbreak: "Two recent studies support that conclusion. Bats sampled in China and Taiwan were found to be carrying a Coronavirus that was genetically almost identical to the SARS virus and that any day could be transmitted to another animal species that has substantial human contact. What happened in Guangdong Province in 2002 and 2003 could happen all over again if one of these bat viruses infects humans, most likely via another infected animal. We can't for a moment believe that the SARS obituary has been written."

With the SARS outbreak the virus came from bats, but that's not how most humans were infected. They were infected by badgers and civets, mostly in wet markets. It stands to reason that people were infected by Covid-19 in a similar way.

Do you have any evidence to back up your claim? Because i find it hilarious that the only argument you offer here is the fact that chinese people have been eating bats for a long time. Funnily enough you are kind of right, people might not have been infected from eating bats, they get infected from eating the animals that were infected by the bats.

What about when the MNet thread about conspiracy theorists got hacked revealing the true identities of the contributors and a number with plausible theories disappeared mysteriously............

Allegedly after he divorced Nicole Kidman he auditioned several actresses to be his next wife, before finally settling on Katie Holmes. She’s rumoured to have already been pregnant to her ex Chris Klein when Tom came along and offered to marry her. The timeline of her giving birth would have given the game away, so she allegedly faked the last few weeks of her pregnancy when in fact she had already given birth. Then they avoided letting the baby be photographed for months because it would be obvious she wasn’t a newborn. Katie got a cash payout for every year of their marriage and Tom doesn’t have contact with Suri because she isn’t his child.

This crap? WTF? You do realise that Holly and Jessica were real children, and the last thing their parents would ever need, even all these years later, is people online hinting at bullshit about how their 'negative behaviour' somehow led to their murder?

What is wrong with people? I know 'true crime' has become a form of entertainment these days (as it always was in a way I guess) but these are real people we are talking about here.

I feel sorry for people who live in Soham. They got a lot of ghouls visiting the village after the cause got into the press, not sure if they still do.

It's far more understandable than even that scenario.

The passport was found by a businessman who saw it on the street as he was evacuating the area before the towers fell. He gave it to a nearby NYPD officer who was helping with the evacuation. Said officer handed it in to his station, and no-one realised what it meant until quite a while afterwards.

If you read the first responder reports for 9/11, they give you a very good idea of what the situation was like on the ground after the planes hit but before the towers fell. The impacts blasted objects from the planes and offices quite a long way. A lot of luggage ended up all in one street, for example.

But do beware. You need a strong stomach for some of those reports; there's things in them that have never really been publicised.

This is interesting for two reasons:

1. it had been withdrawn from general prescribing a couple of years earlier so who ever prescribed it would have had to order it as a special.

2. The reason for withdrawal was its side effects, it cause negative thoughts / nightmares and on occasion suicidal thoughts.

My personal experience of it was having a nightmare about a monster and waking up, but the monster was still in the room.

What a load of twaddle (about the timing) - no doubt Maxwell has some dirt but she's going to jail for a long time anyway so why would she incriminate the others? Shs is obviously a cunt who only cares about her so she will only do stuff that's in her interests.
