To ask if you’ve ever won anything?

All summer I’ve been doing Take a Bloody Break and Heart FM’s money competition, I just don’t seem to have any luck!!! Could really do with some good fortune, our finances are looking dire. I’ve never actually won anything so I was wondering if anyone on here has actually had any luck in these competitions?!!

I won a few hundred on one of those tv quiz channels a few years ago. I was so shocked when I got through I almost hung up

Won loads of stuff, holiday to Toronto is the biggest prize I have ever won, weekend break to Windsor, loads of tickets to family attractions, a games console. Never won any cash though.

I won some signed books on here about 7-8 years ago.
I've won a line at bingo, £50 that I split with the 2 friends I went with, I had a win on a coach to Blackpool once, everyone paid in £1 and got a raffle ticket and mine was picked as the winner, that was about £50 too.

I won a holiday to Italy, vouchers, cinema tickets, zoo tickets, free massage.

One time I went to a raffle with my nan and wound up winning about three different prizes, including the grand prize which was a crate of fruit.

Some people were upset that I’d won several things and my nan had to have a bit of a go at them for being unpleasant to a nine year old.

Yes- a week for 4 full board to the Celtic Manor in S Wales. ( Local radio) £1000 ( cat food competition)
And a two week holiday to the Seychelles, island hopping, again full board- beyond amazing.

I won a car!

A holiday to Gran Canaria, and my dps win a Mediterranean cruise. I've had several decent wins at the bingo too but not been for years! Just invested in some premium bonds so I hope my luck comes back!

Yes on the People's postcode lottery. I don't know why I started doing that, I think I saw something explaining what they do with the money so signed up for one month, then didn't cancel. I won £10 a few times and then, out of the blue, over £3,000 which was very welcome! I'm glad I didn't cancel and am pleased to have contributed to various causes ; I doubt I'll win again but it was lovely surprise.

I won an iPad in a raffle that I was entered in if I registered at the dentist!

I've won loads. I've more or less given up comping but you need to do hundreds of not thousands a week. My best was a holiday to cyprus, but I've won UK breaks and loads more.

I got a ticket inside a packet of crisps for another free packet once. Does that count?

about ten years ago I was at at a trade show and entered a prize draw - just left my business card in a box.

a couple of weeks later i got a call to tell me I'd won an iPod Touch

Gave it to my daughter for xmas - she really wanted one but wasn't expecting. She nearly cried with excitement when she unwrapped it. I've never told her I won it as a prize :)

Back in the 2000s 'who wants to be a millionaire' had a text in 'a,b,c or d' quiz at the adverts. You texted your answer in for a chance to win a grand. On the Monday after the Saturday show I had a call from a person at celador the production company. I thought it was just a marketing call, but I was the sole winner - they told me over 200,000 entries had been made for that one quiz question and 1 prize of a thousand pounds. I have never felt so lucky! Or been so lucky since!!

I won 3rd prize in a Lego competition when I was about 7.

Only other thing was a second prize raffle thing, I only did it because it was for Childline, and my friend did the Keep Fit Challenge with Esther Rantzen, at night there was a party, and we all had to write our names on a pound note. My name was pulled out and I won 12 bottles of champagne.

I must be so unlucky!! I had ten goes in the bottle tombola at Dd’s school summer fair last year - didn’t win a sausage!! The people in front of me and after me won!!!
