I was just thinking the other day as I watch something tedious on tv that if all the men suddenly disappeared I could probably make to with Caroline Catz. So maybe StrawberryMartini's theory is right.

I can look at a woman and think um she is beautiful, or very fit looking (especially stomach board stomach etc - but have to admit that in no way do I want to jump their bones, so would have to say that no I do not think I am in the least bit gay...

I don't fancy Angelina, no. Drew, yes, I can see the attraction. And Salma Hayek is hot.

I also really rather very much fancy kd lang.

Well I suppose I'm slightly more a little bit gay than most, but I don't fancy Angelina. Now as for Katherine Moening (L Word). sigh...

But the question is, like in RL, is it acceptable to be "a little bit gay", gay, or a heterosexual with a "gay tint" on Mumsnet? Does this thread mean that a lot of other regular mumsnetters are reading in horror and freaking out?

Is banter like below going beyond acceptable behaviour between mums? Or am I just a spoilsport? I mean nobody is seriously going to climb out of somebody's keyboard, or actually seek eachother out on a mumsnet meet up. Or are they?

StrawberryMartini my DH is bloody useless, so you definitely wouldnt want him speaking to yours on any matter of importance.

as to the wider discussion i dont think i am gay so much as i think i just fancy women and i like turning them on. my experience with men is pretty limited but no man has ever mad me feel like i feel when snogging another woman in terms of sheer excitement, technique and the whole forbidden fruit thing. ive tried to talk to my sister about this and she thinks i am a slut, so this website has been a pleasant suprise.

I can appreciate a woman being beautiful, looking gorgeous etc but I've NEVER fancied another woman no. I like men too much . The whole thought of snogging another woman just doesn't do it for me. Now I did quite like the idea of a 3sum at a little while ago but that's only because another man would be there and I thought it would be quite horny and well.......I'll leave it at that

I think women are a lot better at feeling free to appreciate other women's bodies, without thinking it means you're gay.

Personally where women are concerned I'd like them at least a size 12 and very curvy (think Charlotte Church), Angelina is too skinny and wierd looking, plus a bit scary.

Funnily enough I have always preferred skinny men - wonder why that is?
