To feel ignored on MN?

My advice wasn't even agreed with - just completely ignored and the same advice given twice. Do I have to pass some sort of test before anyone acknowledges my posts here?

I am pedant fodder. My spelling is so bad cos my brain moves a bit faster than my fingers and I can't be arsed to preview, or correct, much.

Awww thanks guys I feel all warm and cuddly now. Didn't get the flaming I was expecting. Will try to incorporate sex into expressing advice (probably using the word pumping).

I think I thought she was pissed cos of the spelling, then it turned out she really WAS pissed, tho it didn't improve, and she even apologised in the morning.

No-one is ignored. It's just not everyone responds to every post. That's the thing with forums. It's not like chatting in RL, where you might hear those listening to you nodding and making agreement noises. On a forum like this, you type something if you think it's worth reading.

And often, people will only type something if they really, really disagree with what you've said. If you've said something they agree with and you've said it well, why would they they need to post?
