I'm so intrigued to know what the average number is. I hope some of you won't mind responding.

I'll start. My number is 12

Probably around 50.

For some reason I kept a list after separating from my ex husband, split 2.5 years ago. 26 since then.

1. Been with DH since I was 22 and in my 40's now.

I don't know. Probably 30-50.

Those of you who have slept with lots do you just do it if you like the look of them or do you need an emotional connection?
I have never had sex with anyone I wasn't in love with and dated both of them for several months before I felt I knew them well enough to be that intimate with.
Is it different with someone you don't know well or is it always just mechanical? I'm not judging I'm genuinely interested.

More than some, less than others. Pretty average I’d say... So far (sorry DH 😂).

Mine is mid 20s but half of those were drunken mistakes/one night stands - had a bit of a wild first year at uni and another early 20s - tbh it's very easy to have a high number and really does not mean you've had any better sex than those with 2....I am quite embarrassed by my number and dh thinks it's a lot less

I've lost count, most of them forgettable. I estimate about 35 ? Settled down now for the past 12 years, I totally get sex obsessed with someone new 😍 But then if they didn't run for the hills the mist slowly clears and I'm like meh nah, what was I thinking they are terrible, red flags all over the place. I probably should be a man in that sense. Sort of glad I don't have to do dating now.

Don't know why but I feel weird saying the actual number. But I'm in the single figures (just). I have a question for those who's number is 1 and you're married/In a LTR - do you worry that one day you'll regret not having a higher number?

Stopped counting after 20, but maybe less than 30. Not really sure. I’m 41 now and been with my husband since I turned 30. Clearly had a great time in my 20s

16 sexual partners, I’m early 40s, very sexually liberated and confident but have been in a few long term relationships/marriages, but the numbers went up in between.
