@ladybirdsarelovely33 I name changed for this one, not my first post. I'm female (35 years old if you'd like to know that one too). Don't know what the time and day of the week has to do with anything 😂 but to answer your question, it's the first time in been able to sit down and do my own thing all day (busy life with a 5 month old and 3 year old!)

I'm asking because I was talking to my DH about this earlier and am genuinely interested to know. So far the answers are so varied, it really is interesting.

For more info on me, I've been with DH for 10 years, in a serious relationship from 17 - 21 (my first). The other 10 were when I was between 21 and 25.

OneMoreRose - to answer your question. I slept with people because I felt like it, because I fancied them or because I thought I was in love with them. I actually am pretty slow to really fall for people, but I enjoy sex. A few one night stands, a few flings. Sometimes they were amazing, sometimes not! I only actually regret about two instances, I don't regret the overall number (in the 30s). I'm now faithfully committed to DH for over ten years.

No idea. 50? Only 2 in the last 25 years.

12 and a half

I stopped counting at 35. I mistook sex for love in my 20s, and couldn't understand why I never found a relationship. I enjoyed most of it, but also put myself in some very dangerous situations.

I find the idea that you can't have an emotional connection on a ONS really strange. I've had a few ONS/ flings and whilst they obviously weren't based on love, they were full of emotion - one was a person I vaguely knew and we had a great laugh together, it was a brilliant silly fun drunken night. Another was a total stranger but there was a shared interest, something quite niche and he was massively impressed with my knowledge, that dynamic heaped on top of the very obvious sexual attraction made me feel very desired and sexy, that was a bloody great night

I look back fondly on all my ONS to be honest.

Between 20 and 30. Stopped counting when I met my DH 10 years ago and can't really remember any more.

About 50 I’d say.... some great some not so great. I settled quite young so I was actually in mid 20s early 30s when I started properly exploring sex with different people.

I’ve met a great guy now and I’d be happy to only have sex with him for the rest of my life but still early days.

Somewhere between 20-25 - would have to count - my 20s were generally enjoyable marred with occasional disappointment 😂. Been with DH now about 14 years -I’m in mid 40s

Over 50. Mix of ons, several long term relationships and some shorter ones. All between the ages of 15 and 30 and then nothing but my DH since. There aren't many I regret and a few that I wanted to but didn't and definitely regret that more!
Surprised how few the average person seems to have slept with on here.

7 and Iv just turned 30

10 men. 3 women. That sounds fairly typical for the thread, but I've been in a relationship for two decades (now in my 40s) and I suspect circumstances would have been different otherwise.

It hasn't always been any good. IME a lot of people are still quite inhibited about sex, and it's disappointing how few of them were actually any good at it. I'm hoping that 'crap sex' thread that appeared here recently made it onto 'Classics'. WHAT an eye opener!

1 met Dh when I was 17 and now I'm 60.
Dh has only ever had sex with me.

Think around 35. Would have to tot it up.

I'm not entirely sure I think 19 I remember counting years ago but there is no way I could remember them all now. Been with dh 15 years . A lot were age 16-18 then the rest in my late 20's after getting divorced.
