To ask for your favourite binge worthy tv series?

3. how did it make you feel?

Just bought a spin bike and am planning on watching an episode a night and exercising at the same time. Need some suggestions. I'm open to anything!

I'm on series 5 of Vikings - loving that.
I second Detectorists, I could watch that all day, so beautifully written.

ER, watched it back in the 90's. All episodes available on channel 4 online

McMafia - crime gangster? - second series due sometime. Reasonable adaptation from a non-fiction book.
Condor - spy thriller - second series just started.

Buffy the vampire slayer

Greys Anatomy

Rookie Blue (Canadian crime drama)

Orange is the New Black (women’s prison)

Manifest (plane disappearing sci-fi-ish)

The Tiger King
Bonkers and tragic doc
So many issues, victims and villains

The West Wing

American political drama (not too heavy though)

Totally invested in the characters and storyline, desperate for the next episode

Schitt’s Creek - sweet and funny.

The Office (US version) - just rewatched the whole series through lockdown. Funny and so close to home if you work in an office.

Also, my absolute fav, the Good Place. It’s funny and clever and sometimes thought-provoking.

The Morning Show on Apple TV. Stars Jennifer Anniston and Reese Witherspoon. It’s a drama sort of based around the #metoo movement and women in tv, and is well-written and well-acted.

The Mentalist

I second The Crown. Also, I was binge-watching Mad Men on Netflix and really enjoyed it, but then Netflix pulled it before I had a chance to watch all the episodes

I just saw this has newly appeared on Prime, all seasons, I was debating starting it

1. What We Do In The Shadows
2. Comedy about vampire housemates
3. Deeply funny and exactly what I need when I'm down, I could watch it forever :)

And Prison Break.

We also watched all the Stargate series back in the day. Atlantis was my favourite. Not keen on Universe.

I’m also concerned from a safeguarding perspective. No adult dog should be encouraging ‘Duggee hugs’ from small animal children.

I second so many of these... Downton, This is Us, Sex Eduction.

I LOVED Pose and will tell anyone who will listen to watch it. Its based around the LGBTQ ballroom scene in New York and it just made me feel so many different emotions. More people need to watch it.

Another vote for lucifer.

Orphan black. Drama, action, comedy. About some women who find out they're clones. Absolutely wicked and has ended really well. ( I hate when a series doesn't end- dont watch The OA, biggest cliffhanger and its cancelled)

American horror story
It’s a horror anthology series so each season is a stand alone story with different themes/locations etc (eg series 2 is set in an asylum, series 3 is about witches, 4- freak show etc)

True Blood
Vampire series set in Louisiana (very bingeable easy watching once you get into it)

The Chosen

Biblical drama about how Christ might have chosen his disciples. Entirely crowd-funded and very moving.

1. Dark (Germany)
2. Sci-fi/drama/thriller
3. Excited, intrigued, emotional, otherworldly.
