Noodle ramen. We have this great sauce you mix with two parts water, add some sesame oil and seeds in top, throw in frozen peas and anything else I have. Add coriander / spring onions on top and sometimes do an egg for it. I'll always love noodles!

bumblingbovine49 · 25/07/2020 12:12

Cous cous 5 mins to cook by soaking in boiling stock.

Mix.with any of ( depending what I have in/ open). Sweetcorn, fresh tomatoes, olive, anchovies, capers, cucumber, chopped mozzarella, tinned green beans plus a tin off mackeral

Booksandwine80 · 25/07/2020 12:14

Fry some pre chopped chorizo, Chuck in a jar of tomato and chilli pasta sauce, add raw prawns til they’re cooked through and serve over pasta. A favourite in this house Smile

SmudgeButt · 25/07/2020 12:16

burger done on the bbq. with or without bun.

what makes it bliss is that it takes about 10 minutes - most of which is spent sitting there drinking wine - and crucially there is almost no washing up. if the burger was on a bun I'd just need to wash the wine glass, unless I glugged directly from the bottle or used a disposable straw!!!

hadtojoin · 25/07/2020 12:22

Cooked chicken slices cold or heated up, in a wrap with coleslaw and salad. very filling and so quick.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 25/07/2020 12:25

Cornflakes. (For me Obviously, not the dc)

MintyMabel · 25/07/2020 12:28

Mine would be the same but with mash as I don't like waffles.

Or, fish finger sandwich with chips and beans.

MitziK · 25/07/2020 12:35

Pasta, bacon, peas and Philly cheese.

Enderman · 25/07/2020 12:36

Pasta, pesto and cheese.

Igotthemheavyboobs · 25/07/2020 12:38

Spinach and ricotta tortellini wirh 2 sprays of olive oil for sauce

IntermittentParps · 25/07/2020 12:38

Pasta and pesto (and no, I don't whip up my own!). If I'm feeling slightly less lazy I'll chop some courgettes or rinse some baby spinach, or whatever veg I've got, shove it in the microwave and add in.

Mummiepig · 25/07/2020 12:40

Cheese twist and a cookie or muffin from lidls bakery 😳

crosstalk · 25/07/2020 12:43

Changed names because this will be outing.

Tin of chopped tomatoes in a bowl.
chopped spring onions
Chilli flakes
salt.
olive or rape seed oil.

With bread and spoon.

ImAGummyBear · 25/07/2020 12:46

This one my kids love and so easy to make.

Chicken diced into small cubes, in a pan with garlic, ginger, turmeric and salt. Diced potatoes too if you have them. Blitz tomatoes and onions (only because DC don't like to see onions otherwise you can put them in sliced or chopped as you wish) add them in. Let it cook medium heat, after a bit pour in a tin of coconut milk. Leave it until its all cooked. No mixing at all, just shake the pan a bit if you think its sticking.

Delicious, aromatic and a lovely golden colour. Serve with soft rice or nan/pitta etc

Quarantimespringclean · 25/07/2020 12:46

Shop mashed potato heated in the microwave served with pre-grated extra strong cheddar cheese and butter. If I’m feeling energetic and fancy I might chop up a couple of spring onions and stir them in too.

Graphista · 25/07/2020 12:53

Loving the sound of pizza eggs might try that!

DancingInDespair · 25/07/2020 12:56

Beans on toast using a microwavable beans snap pot. toast in toaster, beans in microwave.

2andahalfpints · 25/07/2020 13:00

My ds too, although she cannot be persuaded to have toast or crumpets!

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 25/07/2020 13:01

I fell in love with Holy Cow curry sauces earlier in the year - especially the prawn curry one.
Chuck prawns in the sauce, couple of minutes in the microwave, pile on top of pouched microwave rice (or currently cauliflower as I'm avoiding carbs).

WooleyJ123 · 25/07/2020 13:04

Cheesy pasta

Turkey unicorns and chips

A ham and cheese and onion crisp sandwich

MsEllany · 25/07/2020 13:08

Mine still seems a bit fancy to me even though it’s really not! Grin

Gnocchi and green presto. That’s it. I quite often fancy it up with a bit of cream, some chopped ham and some peas and broccoli but it’s really not necessary. You can do the same with pasta but I just find the gnocchi is more filling for my bottoms less pit children.

NotQuiteUsual · 25/07/2020 13:15

Supernoodles with chopped up tinned hotdogs. It's the kids favourite treat dinner.

Although the other day they asked for sandwiches for dinner. That was the best day of my parenting career.

SadSack39 · 25/07/2020 13:17

I had warmed tinned tomatoes on a bed of toasted bread for lunch, sometimes I garnish with a delicate sprinkling of grated cheddar cheese

Zenithbear · 25/07/2020 13:21
