Jacket potato with baked beans, grated cheddar and a dollop of sour cream.

Bebbanburger · 25/07/2020 09:21

Sausage pasta is a good quicky. fry an onion,.a.clove of garlic and a red and green pepper, add tin tom's, sprinkle.of chili flakes..then grill sausages while cooking pasta. Cut up sausages into sauce. Ready in 20 and yummy.

Chicken Kiev, ontop a slice of white bread for a goarlic bread/toast, chips, peas and sweetcorn. All the carbs and very lazy.

Fish finger butty is also a good one

rc22 · 25/07/2020 09:23

Pizza or omelette

Stella8686 · 25/07/2020 09:24

I have lazier ones but I this one is nice and easy...

Packet of savoury rice with a southern fried chicken fillet (from freezer) with veggies or salad

MyPersona · 25/07/2020 09:25

Salmon or other fish fillets, with ready made marinade or curry paste on, in the air fryer. Stir fry rice/veg. Delicious and healthy in 10 minutes.

Mrsbclinton · 25/07/2020 09:25

Toast with peanut butter and sliced banana on top!

SickOfNorthernExile · 25/07/2020 09:25

@thefruityelf

You guys are us. I’ve started buying catering multipacks of beans Blush

AdaColeman · 25/07/2020 09:26

Potato gnocchi, cooks in two or three minutes so much faster than dried pasta, good topped with butter, grated cheese, diced ham, pesto, chopped fresh tomatoes & olives, anti pasta vegetables in olive oil, tinned tuna, or whatever you fancy!

Pepperwand · 25/07/2020 09:31

Well normally it's a frozen pizza or some sort of fresh pasta with pesto but last night decided I needed some actual nutrition so had falafel with Ainsley Harriot cous cous some garlicky broccoli and spicy hummus. Literally took less than 10 mins, the cous cous is done in the 8 mins the falafel took in the oven. Stir fried some tenderstem broccoli with garlic and then just dolloped on shop bought flavoured hummus.

BikeRunSki · 25/07/2020 09:32

Houmous, crisps and wine.

VirginiaWolverine · 25/07/2020 09:35

Aldi fishcakes with a hollondaise sauce centre and salad from a bag. It's less effort than a fishfinger sandwich but tastes like a proper meal cooked by a capable adult. I always have fishcakes in the freezer.

TimeWastingButFun · 25/07/2020 09:42

Cheese on toast!

AngelicInnocent · 25/07/2020 09:47

Portion of garlic butter, couple of cheese triangles, some diced ham and a handful of grated cheese.

Cook pasta and chuck a handful of frozen peas in for the last few minutes, drain and add the cheesy mixture.

Stir and serve.

CottonHeadedNinyMuggins · 25/07/2020 09:58

Seriously Cheddar melting cheese pot,
A bake at home baguette still warm from the oven with butter spread.
Some sour cream and chive pringles
and assorted dipping things - perhaps some mini cheddars, pizza twists, occasionally some of the 2 for £3 snacky bits (like chicken skewers et al)

Perhaps once a month with a bottle of wine shared - beautiful!

Weenurse · 25/07/2020 10:02

Bacon and scrambled eggs in the microwave. The toast takes the longest to cook

Goatinthegarden · 25/07/2020 10:04

We call it ‘broccoli gnoccholi’...

Chuck broccoli in the steamer for 6 mins. Cook gnocchi in boiling water (2 mins) and drain. Toss together, add olive oil, squeeze a lemon over it (add the zest if you can be bothered) and grate Parmesan and add black pepper over the top.

LouLou789 · 25/07/2020 10:08

Slow cooker stuff! Yeah, you have to be organised enough to bung it in first thing (but you can chop everything the eve before and put in a Tupperware in the fridge) I love just coming home and knowing it’s all ready (and no pans to wash)

PopsicleHustler · 25/07/2020 10:19

@amb885 I looooveeee leave cereal. Especially the one in the red box. But pregnant also and have literally gone off everything bar chocolate

PopsicleHustler · 25/07/2020 10:20

A packet of frozen veg dumplings from the Chinese supermarket is my go-to lazy meal. So good yet so easy. Just whack them in boiling water for 10 minutes.

zingally · 25/07/2020 10:28

A par-baked baguette, fresh out the oven, liberally slathered with butter.

Literally just bread and butter, but so lovely!

Natasha9511 · 25/07/2020 10:31

Quorn nuggets, random chopped veg, cubes of cheese, hummus, and Yorkshire pudding 😂 basically anything that can be chucked in an air fryer or cut quickly 🤣 when I was in my first trimester that’s all I could eat!

penelopeplums · 25/07/2020 10:35

All of them - we use Hello Fresh and it's just a matter of grabbing a bag out of the fridge and following a recipe. No hassle in the shops or looking through cook books for inspiration.
