To ask if you are OK with your daughter's subs being spent on this?

I've just come to update you on my case against Girlguiding, where they expelled me for raising safeguarding concerns and for asking why we had to believe in inner gender identity to be a leader.
Girlguiding have spent AT LEAST £35,000 and probably more like £100,000 of the subs you pay for your daughter to go to Rainbows, Brownies or Guides, on defending a case against me, a committed leader who wants to make sure girls are safe and leaders have freedom of expression.

Full text of my update in the next post so as not to bore you to death!

Try making the same arguments but use race in place of gender. See any problems or are you okay with that too?[/quote]
Hmm

@Balhammom

So.... You and your female child are perfectly comfortable for a male to do her bra fitting?

Winesalot · 04/08/2020 21:53

That is false equivalence and a commonly used tactic.

No. Male people commit the majority of sexual assaults on women and girls. males!

Balhammom · 04/08/2020 21:58

@Winesalot

Based on the latest BCS data, a disproportionate number of violent offences are committed by those of certain ethnicities. Would you like to ban people of those races around your children too?

Given that GG has never been solely for BAME girls it doesn't really work as an analogy does it?

As a principle though - would I object to a white person identifying as BAME in order to access spaces reserved for BAME e.g. to redress an inequality - yep, dead right I would.

Roswellconspiracy · 04/08/2020 21:58

Stop using peope of colour this way.

Black.people were and still are in many places denied basic human rights.

Women of colour are 5 times more likely to die in child birth.

That is nothing like makes being excluded from certain spaces for the privacy and dignity of women when they have their own spaces themselves .

Please answer my question @Balhammom

One of the reasons this is an issue is because the present situation means GG has pushed out girls from traditional Muslim families in order to accommodate male children who identify as girls.

I have a big problem with people from racial minorities being excluded. You should, too.

Winesalot · 04/08/2020 22:06

balhammom

Have you made an assumption then about my ethnicity?

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 04/08/2020 22:08

Its not comparable to BAME people ffs.

All girl (as in female sex) group of any and all colour/race/religion/ethnicity - fine. All female. Although the chance of sexual abuse is not 0 I would imagine it is very very low. Plus girls from Muslim and other Conservative backgrounds would be allowed to join.

Group that allows anyone who says they are female regardless of actual biological sex despite claiming they are female only - certainly seems like the risk is higher. And those Muslim girls are no longer allowed to come along.

Thelnebriati · 05/08/2020 00:51

@Balhammom The UK data centre is the ONS; what is BSC Data? I can only find American companies that use the acronym.
The laws here in the UK are different from those in the US; GG are breaking UK law by saying they are single sex when they are not.

Which race are you suggesting poses the same statistical risk to females as males do?

BatShite · 05/08/2020 12:04

Quite, going down that path tells me everything I need to know about the person who is using it tbh. Same as 'but lesbians!'.

Because clearly, lesbians and black women are just as dangerous statistically as males are to female people.
