Ffs, everyone knows it’s BRAN new 🙄

MrsTerryPratchett · 15/07/2020 15:01

Someone yesterday was having a performance conversation in a shop I was in. 'More longer' over and over again. I also had a 'myself' disagreement with my boss so there's that.

INeedNewShoes · 15/07/2020 15:02

It doesn't look like solid wood.

Alsohuman · 15/07/2020 15:05

AdobeWanKenobi · 15/07/2020 15:07

tobedtoMNandfart · 15/07/2020 15:09

Can they be a bit more Pacific?

LittleDonk · 15/07/2020 15:10

Oof.

The other classic is the "Lady boy" recliner chair.

PiggyPokkyFool · 15/07/2020 15:10

My pal and I have shared a few from our local selling sites - these are my two favourites from last week.

I used to work beside a girl who would say things like....’it was nice but the other one was more beautifuller’

.....another classic from her was ‘he was alright, but it was difficult to conversate with him’

I think "chest of drawers" is a clumsy name for an item of furniture. "Bureau" or "drawers" are both better and would avoid this issue.

Just2MoreSeasons · 15/07/2020 15:23

You're all killing me GrinGrinGrin

Those swede boots would go perfect with turnip jeans.
VioletGrace · 15/07/2020 15:33

At least they didn't say 'Bran New' which seems to be a commonly used phrase on my local selling groups....

BeijingBikini · 15/07/2020 15:33

Oh god, I saw an estate agent write up a really expensive house as being in a "sort after" street. If I was selling my house for that much I definitely wouldn't want a listing littered with spelling mistakes...

Quite ironic, considering.

@dudsville

I think "chest of drawers" is a clumsy name for an item of furniture. "Bureau" or "drawers" are both better and would avoid this issue.
It isn't a bureau though, so that would still be wrong.

And "drawers" is not specific enough because they could be built-in ones etc, so calling it a "chest of" this shows that it is a freestanding unit, i.e. a chest, containing multiple drawers.
