To think that fish fingers do not go with pasta

Clearly not the biggest deal but I'd be interested to hear views! My OH cooked me fishfingers and pasta with sweetcorn the other day (yes a but bland but we were v. short on time and inspiration!). I micro waved myself a potato instead and put the pasta in the fridge for the next day's lunch. No arguments at all but I was surprised at the offering as I thought pasta kind of needs a sauce? he thought this was normal so I though I'd canvas some opinions!

YABU = fish fingers and pasta is a fine (if uninspired meal)
YANBU = it's a totally weird combination!

I get a breaded chicken pasta from an Italian street food place sometimes and that's really nice, but I don't think I would have fish fingers with pasta.

My son eats fish fingers with gravy !!!! He's 29 btw

You've literally just listed pretty much everything I hate! I'm thinking you and I would not be great dinner companions!!
