Thought it was time for another try at recognising these images and catching some child rapists.

They specifically want to trace their origin (location/country). You can help by clicking on an object you recognise and providing Europol with the information you have on the object. This can be done anonymously.

The images are safe to click on (all identifying bits have been taken out), but still may be triggering for some.

I keep this website on my favourites list and look about once a month.

BertieBotts · 06/07/2020 21:16

Oh I didn't realise they changed so often, I've seen this link months ago and most of the clothing ones were the same :( I will keep it on my bookmarks and check back every so often.

Lifeisconfusing · 06/07/2020 21:18

The shorts look like the type you would pick up on a market again (abroad) not your generic mass made type from the likes of next etc.

LivingThisLife · 06/07/2020 21:18

I wonder can you do a reverse image search on Google for any similar items? Or Google Lens?

I did wonder that, but I was afraid what might come up. I'm not in the least technical, though, so I don't know if that's likely.

Great work on the bracelet, poster above.

JoJoHasIt · 06/07/2020 21:23

Sometimes the same items are there for ages. The orange top has been there for a long time. I think they just change them when necessary rather than all at once. Often the photos are of places outdoors with the people removed.

I wouldn’t remember to look if it wasn’t on my favourites list.

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 06/07/2020 21:24

Can I just check (sorry) nothing in here is going to be graphic/upsetting to look at?

I want to help any way I can but can't cope seeing anything upsetting, it would give me nightmares/make me literally vomit.

Mummyoflittledragon · 06/07/2020 21:27

Omg. Horrendous and heart breaking. I don’t recognise the objects but than you so much for posting.

reesewithoutaspoon · 06/07/2020 21:28

theres nothing graphic. just images of items

Shufflebumnessie · 06/07/2020 21:28

Heartbreaking! I never thought looking at a list of random bits of photographs could bring me to the verge of tears.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 06/07/2020 21:30

Well done, whataboutyas.

Pic 5 - My OH thought lighter fluid, but when I searched it didn't look like it. I think maybe cleaning/beauty products? Apricot scrub?

Lifeisconfusing · 06/07/2020 21:30

Iv just checked to see if these sites had any luck with finding the items and I seen this . Heartbreaking but at least they had a lead 😣

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 06/07/2020 21:31

There's nothing graphic or upsetting. It's disembodied images of, say, T shirt logos or aerosol cans, but I find it upsetting to even think about it, to be honest.

ResumetonormalASAP · 06/07/2020 21:32

If you reverse google search images it can sometimes lead to a better image and a bit more information - for example this shirt

<a class="break-all" href="https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=pbs.twimg.com/media/EVpGIWXWAAY--td.jpg&imgrefurl=twitter.com/europol/status/1247818995341963264?lang%3Den&h=1200&w=1200&tbnid=Dqchh-e6kc5YVM&tbnh=225&tbnw=225&usg=AI4_-kQ96EjD5QTvaWVblE0RXYDZI-_8Aw&vet=1&docid=3a8TJDZq3vInEM" rel="nofollow" target="blank">www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=pbs.twimg.com/media/EVpGIWXWAAY--td.jpg&imgrefurl=twitter.com/europol/status/1247818995341963264?lang%3Den&h=1200&w=1200&tbnid=Dqchh-e6kc5YVM&tbnh=225&tbnw=225&usg=AI4-kQ96EjD5QTvaWVblE0RXYDZI-_8Aw&vet=1&docid=3a8TJDZq3vInEM

Someone might recognise the logo?

TheVeryHungryTortoise · 06/07/2020 21:34

@NoIDont none of them are explicit images as it is just small cropped out items from a larger picture of child abuse. I still think they are upsetting to look at though, as you still know the context behind what you are looking at.

I always try to look because (in my mind) it's so much better to feel upset but potentially save a child/help in a case than to not look through. But I can only speak for myself as many people may unfortunately find the content triggering and of course shouldn't be pressured to help.

ComeOnBabyPopMyBubble · 06/07/2020 21:42

Could the cream pot be a Johnsons' product? That's what the colours reminded me of straight away.

SlightyJaded · 06/07/2020 21:42

The first thought I had at the yellow and red aerosol was fly/insect spray. A bit like this one. But this doesn't have the red band. The fact that there is no lid and you spray direct from the can suggests something you need to 'grab quickly'.

Gunpowder · 06/07/2020 21:43

I thought child’s farm for picture 5 too. The sensitive scalp shampoo has an orange lid like that.

lombi · 06/07/2020 21:51

I think no. 5 is some sort of Thai mosquito repellent bit lie this

SlightyJaded · 06/07/2020 21:52

twitter.com/europol/status/1247818995341963264.

Someone has identified the tshirt and there are lots of people making suggestions here....

Pawsin · 06/07/2020 21:57

The character on the yellow luck shorts reminds me of the groovy chick/bubblegum kids type of style from the 90s 🤔

ChewChewIsMySpiritAnimal · 06/07/2020 21:58

I think i recognise two, have submitted them.

BoreOfWhabylon · 06/07/2020 21:59

I wonder if this is something @MNHQ could get behind? They could make sure we're informed every time the list of items is updated.

Elderflower14 · 06/07/2020 21:59

The smaller aerosol can looked like Batiste dry shampoo to me.

Quietlyloud · 06/07/2020 21:59

There’s a sub on Reddit for this too. It’s awful, some pictures will be of backgrounds outdoors and just a removed silhouette of where a child was standing. Hard to look at. Haven’t recognised anything, but I don’t think it is a child’s farm bottle in the picture they mentioned, the bottles are different.
