Thought it was time for another try at recognising these images and catching some child rapists.

They specifically want to trace their origin (location/country). You can help by clicking on an object you recognise and providing Europol with the information you have on the object. This can be done anonymously.

The images are safe to click on (all identifying bits have been taken out), but still may be triggering for some.

Report and help if you can. The abuser will never know it is you.

Babesinthewud · 06/07/2020 20:39

@Babesinthewud

Do we just click on the link and see if we recognise products, items? Is that right?
I’ve just looked and I understand it now. I’d never heard of such a site so was a bit scared to click incase I seen things I didn’t want to see, but obviously that’s not the case at all.

It’s simply to help identify certain items that may make it easier to catch these sick fucking bastards.

Its a really good idea and hopefully someone will be able to identify things.

It’s so sad what these children have to suffer 😞

AliBear90 · 06/07/2020 20:41

This is so sad. I have a 1 year old daughter and the thought that anyone would harm her I don’t even know how it makes me feel, heartbroken, angry, just all the horrible emotions I guess. Don’t recognise anything but will be sure to keep looking at these sorts of things to protect those poor, poor children.

Cherry321 · 06/07/2020 20:44

Those little shorts with ‘luck’ on are going to stay with me for ages. ☹️
Almost ironic. If it wasn’t so awful. Truly awful.

MulticolourMophead · 06/07/2020 20:44

I didn't recognise anything, but I'll check in on that site every so often to see if I recognise any new images.

Clevererthanyou · 06/07/2020 20:46

Can someone with better eyes than me see if this is similar to the bottle/tin shown please?

@BertieBotts yes good call on the childs farm product, however its not only distributed in the UK, it's also widely available here in Ireland.

ItsSpittingEverybodyIn · 06/07/2020 20:48

So so sad, those little yellow shorts have made me cry. I wish this could stop once and for all.

Marmite27 · 06/07/2020 20:49

Childs Farm is distributed all over. It says South Africa, New Zealand and Australia on the bottle I was comparing to the image. I’m not sure it’s quite right, but mine is a pump not an easy pour cap.

MynameisJune · 06/07/2020 20:50

I’ve had a look. That yellow spray can with the red top does look familiar but I can’t think what.

I disagree that the bottle next to is Child’s Farm, unless they’ve changed it then the Child’s Farm also has an orange label and the top isn’t that bright.

Marmite27 · 06/07/2020 20:51

Maybe this angle?

Picture five, the yellow spray can with the red cap, that looks really familiar to me, I am racking my brain to try and remember. Some sort of insect repellent maybe ?

I think it looks like lighter fluid.

NudgeUnit · 06/07/2020 20:53

Thank you for posting the link, OP. I've looked at these before but wouldn't have remembered to check the europol site myself.

Wereeaglesdare · 06/07/2020 20:53

This is such a sad post. I litrally feel so upset looking through these the idea that they are taken from child abuse images Makes me feel sick and wrong. Completely commend the people who have to do this for a job seeing the full image what it must take for them people to look past it in order to help these poor kids. Don't recognise anything but wanted to bump.

TheVanguardSix · 06/07/2020 20:54

I follow this regularly and also Belingcat (those guys are amazing). You can read about how they geolocate and also about the success they’ve had with Europol’s Trace an Object campaign.

It’s Mumsnet where I learned about this campaign, by the way. So thank you MN. www.bellingcat.com/news/uk-and-europe/2020/04/22/creating-impact-a-year-on-stop-child-abuse-trace-an-object/

itsnotyouitsyou · 06/07/2020 20:55

I don't recognise anything. This is so sad it makes my heart break. I hate all the sick evil people in this world.

lombi · 06/07/2020 21:00

I recognise the yellow and red bottle too. Is I'll bleach bottle? The image has a picture of a lemon on it you can faintly see.

Yes! That's it! I know I recognised it as my DP used to have refillable lighters so we always had some. It's Zippo
Coldhandscoldheart · 06/07/2020 21:04

I thought the bottle looked like kids sun team, perhaps from a couple of years ago, nivea or garnier?
Agree with pp the yellow bottle looks like insect repellent ir lighter fuel.

whatboutyas · 06/07/2020 21:05

ComDummings · 06/07/2020 21:07

Yes the one in picture 5 looks like a sun cream to me but I can’t figure out which brand and the red bottle looks like a fly spray or lighter fluid but again I can’t figure out which

myoho · 06/07/2020 21:09

I also think the yellow and red can is lighter gas/fluid

LadyofTheManners · 06/07/2020 21:10

Zippo. It has a red lid. I submitted that one I wonder can you do a reverse image search on Google for any similar items? Or Google Lens?
Lifeisconfusing · 06/07/2020 21:11

I think all these pictures look foreign the bottles are the type of items you get from local shops abroad (cheap) the yellow bottle with the red lid looks familiar to me as well maybe bug spray repellent . It’s heartbreaking I can’t imagine the horrors surrounding these items

MynameisJune · 06/07/2020 21:12

I’ve googled zippo lighter fluid, none of the bottles on image search match that picture.
