Thought it was time for another try at recognising these images and catching some child rapists.

They specifically want to trace their origin (location/country). You can help by clicking on an object you recognise and providing Europol with the information you have on the object. This can be done anonymously.

The images are safe to click on (all identifying bits have been taken out), but still may be triggering for some.

Thanks for sharing OP. I'd never heard of this but it's a great way to potentially help catch the sick and depraved.

Sorry I have phrased that really badly and have requested it is withdrawn.

My cousin works for a government organisation that had to listen in on a large ring of pedophiles - I only know from my Aunty because what he heard really disturbed him and he needed extensive counselling. They did catch the ring.

Wellyouknowbest · 06/07/2020 19:41

Those little socks and shorts are heart breaking. I don't recognise anything and never heard of this but such a clever idea, kind of you don't know what you know until you see it.

DaisyChainsForever · 06/07/2020 19:43

Well done for posting OP. Hopefully someone recognises something.

Onekidnoclue · 06/07/2020 19:45

These are heartbreaking. I wish I could help.

golddustwomen · 06/07/2020 19:48

Those socks and shorts. Utterly utterly heartbreaking. Can't make anything out but bumping.

BabyLlamaZen · 06/07/2020 19:53

I'm not sure I can even click on the link as find the thought so upsetting :(

Bumping for those who can

meow1989 · 06/07/2020 19:53

Oh these are just heartbreaking, those poor babies (I use babies in the "anyone under 18" sense). I dont recognise anything but hopefully others will.

HemulenHouse · 06/07/2020 20:04

Is the forth one just another angle on the t-shirt above if? Because if not, it looks like the side shot of an open box of Dairylea triangles.

SirVixofVixHall · 06/07/2020 20:12

Picture five, the yellow spray can with the red cap, that looks really familiar to me, I am racking my brain to try and remember. Some sort of insect repellent maybe ?

Hoppinggreen · 06/07/2020 20:15

lifeisconfusing my DH is currently involved in a software project to automate this, it should also increase the number of images that can be watched. If it works it will speed up the whole process
There’s also a major university involved and the first trial within a Police Force will hopefully start soon.

MsEllany · 06/07/2020 20:18

It’s so frustrating and upsetting looking at those. I want to help, but I recognise nothing.

Camphillgirl · 06/07/2020 20:20

You mums are wonderful. Thank you.

That's what I thought, like Raid Fly Spray?
SebandAlice · 06/07/2020 20:22

I don’t recognise anything. It is heart breaking how many children are abused for the pleasure of disgusting men. Men rich or poor, black or white and more often powerful with the perfect family. Really disgusts me. Prince Andrew most likely abused a teenager but let’s have 1000’s of posts condemning MM.

It's really familiar to me too. My first thought was a cleaning product.
Thinkingabout1t · 06/07/2020 20:24

I couldn't recognise anything, but will look out for the next batch of images that are shown on Mumsnet. Thanks for posting this on Mumsnet, OP. An excellent idea.

fannyanney · 06/07/2020 20:28

Thank you for posting this. I avoid anything to do with CSA normally because I have young children and I find it too horrifying, but I always check these pictures when they're posted on here, because it's more important to try to protect children than it is to put my fingers in my ears.

Unfortunately nothing is familiar, but it's so important to check every time

SirVixofVixHall · 06/07/2020 20:31

I sent my name in without thinking, should I not have done that ? Worried now.

Babesinthewud · 06/07/2020 20:33

Do we just click on the link and see if we recognise products, items? Is that right?

BertieBotts · 06/07/2020 20:36

You can put your name in! It's just some people feel anxious about getting contacted back. It's unlikely you would be, so don't worry.

Yes Babes - the photos are generally quite distorted and pixelly so hard to make out. But there are only ever about 20 things at any one time, so it doesn't take long to have a quick look.

Good call to the child's farm posters - that brand is only distributed in the UK so might make a difference in narrowing down a country.

EdithWeston · 06/07/2020 20:37

It'll be safe for your name - it's gone to Europol, which is nit a sketchy organisation.

I first came across this site because it was mentioned in an MN thread years ago.

The pix are changed every couple of weeks, though some stay on for longer (I guess they come done faster if they get good quality info on the items)

I've recognised something once. But it was quite common packaging that I guess many parents in UK would recognise straight away, so I expect they got lots of responses for that one.
